Cheap n Decent
Review of Reebok Shop by
jenny_carr
Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: none
...! In most shops, they cost like £50 but in here:£24. That is extremely good! I saw babies trainers for £14 where as in other shops they usually cost around £25.
They sell a whole range of Reebok bags. They have a big display of them and there are bags like the ones the cross over your body and rucksacks and sports bags. They are all reasonably priced once again.
Reebok accesories are sold as well such baseball hats, wallets, purses etc.
In the shop, they are a large number of staff around and they are very friendly and helpful. I inquired about an intem and the man went off to see if they had anymore in stock, within 2 minutes he was back and told me that the product was in stock. He was friendly and was happy to help me.
I was very pleased with the shop when I came out and I'm sure I'll be there again soon!...

Review of The Sweatshop (Shop) by
Mikew79
Advantages: Knowledgeable advice
Disadvantages: None
...I was looking for a pair of cross trainers to do a bit of running and to work out in the gym. Last week we visited a branch of the Sweatshop in Teddington and found just what I was looking for.
You know how it is sometimes you find that the shop assistant seems totally bored and is counting the hours until the end of the shift, well the Sweatshop went a long way to disprove this myth. The sales assistant took great pains to find out exactly what i wanted to use the cross trainers for, whether I had any injuries and what make of trainers I had used before.
I tried on pairs of Nike, New Balance and Adidas before finally settling upon a pair of Reebok Go Dare DMX's and I have been really pleased with them. They feel very comfortable just like a pair of slippers in fact. Full credit to the Sweatshop for their unhurried and expert advice....

The best trainers ever
Review of Reebok Shop by
Mikew79
Advantages: The best cross trainers ever
Disadvantages: None
...I have got through many pairs of trainers over the years and can even remember when trainers were called plimsolls or pumps. I guess I started when the old Dunlop Green Flash were all the rage, progressed on to Adidas Roms, through to many different versions and brands of specialist running shoes made by New Balance, Asics and Nike.
Anyway, having established my credentials I have to say that I have now found the most comfortable pair of cross trainers that I have ever had. They are Reebok DMX shoes which cost about £55 when I bought them in June this year. They are grey in colour with black trim and they feel like slippers. I have run several miles in them, taken part in numerous Body Pump and Circuit training classes, cycled, played the odd game of football and walked around a few shopping centres since then and they are still...

MY REEBOK CLASSICS ARE PURE CLASSICS
Review of Everything that starts with R ... by
emu128
Advantages: Comfy, cheep and have lasted
Disadvantages: Only up to 5 and a halfs for £20
...Before I start writing, this is my follow up opinion from earlier on tonight of my opinion on 'The Reebok Store' and this opinion is not about the Reebok Advert at all, its about my reebok trianers!
After writing an opinion on the 'Reebok' shop itself I decided to write specifically on a product that I bought at the shop. This specific product you will know if you read my opinion on the shop, was a pair of the fabulous Reebok classics.
These trainers have been around for a few years now but I've never actually owned my very own pair until recently when I bought them in size 5 and a half for only £20!!! I was so impressed, expecting the worst as I usually do, I thought that they may be a little tacky as they were cheap, but nothing was wrong with a pair of cheap and cheerful trainers and what I found out was that these trainers weren...

Everything you ever wanted to know about sex
Review of Reebok trainers [TV Advertisement] by
DiazX
Advantages: Cool music, funny, good fx
Disadvantages: too obscure to sell shoes
...If you ever saw Woody Allen being chased by a giant inflatable breast then you have a chance of being prepared for Reebok’s “Your bellys gonna getcha” advert. If not it’s one of the most obscure advertising ideas I’ve ever seen.
To the strains of a screaming soundtrack, a man is chased through streets, shopping malls and even into a lift by a giant beer belly, complete with fluff and spiders legs. Eventually the man thinks he has shaken his gastric pursuer when the belly appears on a motorbike and sidecar only to crash into a river.
Now granted the man is running and I’m sure his Reeboks are very comfortable but is it going to persuade me to buy a pair. It’s only likely to spill the carefully positioned beer can off your average Yuletide beer-gut.
It’s funny, it’s gross but will it sell shoes, it took me a few watches before I even...

THE REEBOK SHOP AT BRAINTREE
Review of Reebok Shop by
emu128
Advantages: Great shop, items and prices
Disadvantages: I think there's only 2 stores in the whole country
...sizes.
The footwear section took up quite a lot of room in the store too but was mainly stocked up in the right hand cornor of the store, most of the items of footwear were on display in order of sizes which I liked. You just had to visit the section of your shoe size and choose a pair of shoes. Again the prices were lower which was fab and half sizes were available. You could buy trainers which could either be running trainers or casual trainers, football boots, astro turfs, studded boots or Moulded boots and then 'Reebok' sandals and footwear for the summer. I picked up a pair of Gold and White Reebok classics in size 5 and a half for only £20!!! These trainers are very popular and are usually sold at prices of around £35-£60 in this specific size.~I was very impressed and the trainers have lasted as well, (Check out opinion coming...

Low cost astro trainer that grips and rips!
Review of Reebok Typhoon Astro by
akgandrew
Advantages: Great traction, great look and hard wearing
Disadvantages: Heavy, hard uppers.
...At a first observation these trainers looked smart and seemed to have everything you want. The price tag suggested otherwise and on trying them out I realised why they were low price. This is not to say they are not great value for money though. The grip of the trainers is great allowing for excellent control of dynamic movements without restricting movement and risking injury. I know this as I am studying astroturf footwear as part of a Phd. As far as these trainers go regarding performance there is only one problem, their weightis a bit too heavy which means you are left with tired legs and a lack of spring in your step. The uppers provide not enough give which can lead to abrasive injuries and also leaves you with a slight degeneration in the feel when playing football.. However they look stylish and for the price...

‘Belly’ funny....
Review of Reebok trainers [TV Advertisement] by
stereoman
Advantages: Easy to understand humour BUT....
Disadvantages: ....the punchlines aren’t that funny (or too memorable either).
...With seemingly only two in the series ‘Belly’ and ‘Trouble’. Reebok have hinged their hopes on high-concept but low-minded humour to try and sell their trainers.
The first has a man running down a street BUT is soon revealed to be pursued by a menacingly large ‘beer belly’ who is determined to catch up with him. We see him trying to escape the ‘belly’ as we see him jump over a fence in an alleyway BUT the ‘belly’ manages to get over it by simply bulldozing it down with it’s bulk. The man then enters a shopping mall with the ‘belly’ in hot pursuit (in the background the ‘belly’ eyes him and is soon lodged into an elevator with two unfortunate passengers as
it lets out an audible ‘fart’). Soon though, the man escapes into what is seemingly a car-park and the man makes his way onto the roof...

THE SOFA THAT WILL STOP AT NOTHING
Review of Reebok trainers [TV Advertisement] by
Versatile
Advantages: All in opinion
Disadvantages: All in opinion
...For some adverts is a good reason to quickly put on the kettle and make a quick cup of tea or going for a quick leak before resuming back to their normal seating position in front of the TV. I on the other hand actually enjoy adverts (call me sad). Today most adverts are well thought out and very entertaining. Vast amounts of money are invested in order to promote what ever they are trying to sell – and most are portrayed with style and eye catching techniques.
A prime example is the latest Reebok advert – When you first see this advert there is no indication that it is about Reebok trainers until the very end. This original and clever advert quickly induces its target audience into excitement and interest. The setting takes place in a small room – a young man seated on a sofa watching the TV. The young man then decides to go for his...

The belly's got me laughing
Review of Everything that starts with R ... by
S_Osborne
Advantages: the grip, the comfort and the range in size and styles
Disadvantages: none that i can think of
...I was thinking I would actually talk about the trainers rather than the advert on the basis that I have been very impressed with my pair of Reeboks’.
I play badminton once or sometimes twice a week, so I need a fairly sturdy pair of shoes with good grip which would mean that I have the optimum chance to perform. Reebok have been able to provide me with this sort of shoe and as a result I feel more confident on the court.
Previously I had a Nike training shoe which I thought would adequate for the job right, because lets face it badminton is not the most demanding on the shoe other than the factors above. When these had finally clapped out though after two and a half years I decided to go with a pair of Reebok training shoes and I was very surprised with the difference.
The shoe is very comfortable indeed and I believe it is more...
