...Revels are produced by Mars and are a great bag of sweets full of variety in the great Mars chocolate. You have the choice of the chocolate, toffee, orange fondant , coffee fondant , raisin, peanut and a malteser with a biscuit/honeycomb centre wrapped in chocolate to mak a bag of Revels. You can but a variety of size Revel packets these days from a standard bag to a grab bag or pot the size is completely up to you. As much as i love Revels as i am a huge mars chocolate fan, i have to say that they are a waste of money for me to buy as i tend to find that i pick out the peanuts, coffee and raisin by biting them in half and i never eat them, so it would be cheaper for me to buy a bag of Minstrels which are great, they just do not seem to last very long. If i had to pick a favourite of all the revels it has to be the toffee one... Read review

...After my very healthy lunch of Mediterranean salad with olive bread croutons I found myself this rainy afternoon with a rather hefty chocolate craving. Rather than opening my lunchbox and nibbling on the grapes that I had carefully packed I decided to visit the Charity Chocolate box. At work we have a Charity honesty box where for a vastly over inflated price you can purchace chocoltate and sweets and feel comforted by the fact that although your waistline is growing you are doing your good deed for the day by giving to charity. Personally I find this lessens the guilt of a per-menstrual chocolate binge no end! I can only assume that the people who invented Revels did so either to use up all the left overs, floor sweepings and the like or they were stark raving MAD! Advantages: Great taste, fun and various flavours

...The first packet of chocolates with more than just one type of flavour. Unlike your average maltesers, minstrels or m and ms revels are both tastey and fun. The idea of revels is that you never know which one you are going to get however already there is a fault in the design as the chocolates are different shapes and sizes. There are six types of flavours: Chocolate: a lot like a minstel but without the crispy shell. This is probably the most obvious revel as the shape is an oval just like the minstrel and is different to the others Orange: Probably the most disappointing flavour is the orange the shape is round always and is one that you may get mixed up with others. ...Revels were first produced in 1967 by Mars Confectionary and have been selling ever since. I think Revels are better than any other chocolate because you have a choice. You never know which chocolate you will pick out of the bag next. Are you a fellow reveler? I certainly am!!! More than a pack of maltesers would you believe!!! :) Revels consist of 6 different types: 1) Malteser - These are honey comb malt centres covered in thick milk chocolate. As soon as you bite into them, you feel a crunchy sensation and they melt into your mouth. These are shaped like a big round ball. 2) Toffee - These are the small, oval, hard ones. ...These are delicious. Ok, more detail is needed i think. Revels are sweets. They can be bought from anywhere, such as newsagents, corner shops, ciemas, train station shops etc, you get the message, they are widely available. Packaging: The first thing to know is how to spot a pack of revels. The packaging consists of streaks of yellow, orange and brown. The packet has pictures of revels on the front. Revels come in many different packets, the most common being the small pack you can buy in vending machines, costing around 35p. You can also buy a cylindrical tube full of revels, a large (and i mean large) pack from cinemas, costing round-a-bout £2.00 and also tubs, which are small buckets. ...As I was waiting in the queue in my local newsagent today, I had an overwhelming desire to buy something from the sweets fixture. With the plethora of bars and sweets before me, it was a difficult choice, but I finally opted for a packet of Revels. Revels come in a distinctive, colourful packet, with six vertical stripes on the front, ranging in colour from brown and gold to orange, and the name, 'revels', appearing in bold white lettering over the top. On the back of the packet is a list of ingredients and, of course, the usual nutrition information. Revels are round milk chocolate balls with assorted centres. They come in six flavours - caramel, orange, coffee, malteser, peanut and chocolate - so there is something for everyone. ...I am beginning to think that chocolate wise I have lead a very sheltered life. Perhaps it has something to do with growing up in a notoriously narrow-minded part of the world. Any road the list of chocolate bars that I have never tried before grows longer seemingly by the day. And not only have I never tried them I usually have never seen anyone else try them either. As far as I am aware I am the only person I know who has tried Revels and I am the only person I have ever seen buying revels. Bizarrely though I have seen Revel bags discarded on quite a regular basis. I am going to presume that Revel eaters operate the same stealth policy employed by Topic eaters. To be fair, though, Revels don’t strike me as the kind of chocolate product that would appeal to children. I knew of them as a child but I avoided them for two reasons...
