Reviews of rich moisturiser
Wish i was as rich as this cream!
Review of Dove Rich Moisturising Creme by
lisa8871
Advantages: A great moisturising cream
Disadvantages: none yet
...was aimed at people for dry and sensitive skin, and in 1970 was tested by dermatologists which proved it was milder than 17 of the leading soaps at the time.
Dove came to the UK 12 years ago and became famous for its bath time products and body washes. In 2000 dove started branching out into to deodorants, hair care and body moisturisers, in 2004 came the firming range (and not a moment to soon for me anyway!) Dove is now running the campaign for real beauty, let's be honest you must have been living on the moon if you haven't seen the adverts basically they are using real women of all shapes and sizes for their advertising instead of stick thin models.
PRODUCT STATEMENT
Dove rich moisturising cream is for complete daily skin care. Dove rich moisturising cream offers extra rich and pampering moisturisation. It combines nourishing...

My favourite moisturiser
Review of Nivea Rich Care Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin by
flibertygibbert
Advantages: soft smooth skin after, very good value
Disadvantages: i have found no disadvantage for this product
...The first thing that struck me about this product was the reasonable price! Extremely good value for money!
But let me talk about the actual product: In my opinion, it is the best moisturiser on the market at the moment. Before I used this product, other moisturisers used to feel like they were burning my face and left red blotchy areas where the cream had been applied. However this is one of the only products i have tried which does not have the same effect and i really like the feel of my skin after having applied it.
I use it everyday and have done for the last year and would strongly recommend it to anyone with dry skin or just looking for that soft smooth baby skin!
Furthermore, economically it is great because you do not need to use lots ofit for a good affect and hence one bottle last for a long time! A great product...

Grease is the word
Review of Nivea Rich Care Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin by
kerfuffle
Advantages: Moisturises and has a decent fragrance
Disadvantages: It takes a long time to rub in
...NIVEA® body Rich Care Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin (which I think is just a new version of NIVEA® Enriched Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin) claims to "Intensively nourishes for smooth, soft skin" and contains "Natural Minerals, Almond Oil & Vitamin E". I like reading the back of the bottles to know what exactly they're offering (and that's something you can never do when you're purchasing online, and it bugs me a lot), so here's the exact text at the back of this bottle:
---
NIVEA® body

* Works effectively to reduce dryness
NIVEA® body Rich Care Body Moisturiser has a unique blend of caring ingredients to restore and hydrate your skin, leaving it noticeably smoother for longer.

Not The Best Moisturiser
Review of Nivea Visage Rich Daily Moisture Cream by
neenn
Advantages: Pleasant smell
Disadvantages: The cost, doesn't moisturise that well
...Anyone who has read my other Nivea Visage product review will know that I got a lot of samples at the end of my 5km run for Race for Life a few months ago.
Having just found them in the back of a cupboard after a big summer sort out, I thought that I would give them a try and hopefully find some new products that will help moisturise my skin. Being a big fan of the Nivea body lotion I was expecting great things from the Nivea Visage range.
- Nivea Visage -
This is a line of Nivea products that have been specially formulated for facial skincare.
Nivea have divided these products in to 3 skin types:

Mission Impossible? A Good moisturiser.
Review of Dove Body Moisturiser by
jo145
Advantages: Soft, smooth skin
Disadvantages: Might not like perfume, difficult top
...would see what it was like. Easier said than done. The flip top is extremely hard to flip. Eventually I flipped. I tried a sniff and hoped the cameras were not zooming in on me! Smelled alright, not too strong so wouldn’t argue with my perfume. But I did not have the courage to squirt some out to see what it felt like! It would be more helpful to have testers, so perhaps I should have tried a chemist instead, anyway I like my Tesco points, so the mission was a new moisturiser. In to the trolley it went and I went on my way.
~THE BOTTLE~
Best way I can describe it is a “Mummy” shape, it is narrower at the base and widens at the shoulders of the bottle. This bottle is 18cm high and goes from 5cm wide to 8cm. The bottle is white plastic and has a rich deep blue flip top, which I have already described. There are peelable labels back...

Soothing and moisturising cream for sensitive skin
Review of Nivea Visage Rich Daily Moisture Cream by
wildrose9104
Advantages: Does the job, easy to use tube.
Disadvantages: A little on the expensive side for how much you get, unnecessary cardboard packaging.
.... Normally after applying a moisturiser, my face is dry 5 minutes later. Taking the moisturiser out of the box, it comes in a white tube with pretty much the same design as the box on the front, and on the back is the beauty advice and contact details. It also has a recycling logo.
The lid is a white screw top with a thin silver band running around the edge and twists off easily. So out I squeeze a small blob of cream, no bigger than a pea. It smells quite light, and feels quite thick and rich. To apply and get the most coverage I rub it between my palms and apply to my face almost like I'm washing with a cleanser, but gently! This seems very promising and it doesnt feel heavy and it is extremely soothing! After 5 minutes, my face not one bit dry at all and at the end of the day, my skin is still as moisturised as when I put it on earlier...

I'm rich
Review of Dove Body Moisturiser by
shazahmed
Advantages: Rich Moisturiser, lasts a long time, smells nice
Disadvantages: None that i can see
...The Dove Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser with Vit E is a fantastic treat for ur body. I dont tend to use it everyday, but mainly after i come out of the shower or bath.
its mainly for normal/dry skin and as i have quite dry skin i knew this wouldnt be a complete cure. but nothing really is, so i was just looking for something to calm my skin. the problem i have with my dry skin is that lotions sting, and creams take ages to absorb so i just needed a body moisturiser to keep my skin moisturised, feeling light and smelling great. i either had the choice of nice smelling lotions or medicated smelling creams, and i wanted neither. so when i discovered Dove body moisturiser i bought it right away.
~~Appearance and cost~~
i bought a 250ml squeezy bottle for about £3 from superdrugs. i think a 400ml (or 450ml cant remember sorry...

More than a Moisturising Fluid, Less than Perfect
Review of Garnier Synergie C More than a Moisturising Fluid with Vitamin C by
mirei
Advantages: Pleasant light moisturiser, SPF 15
Disadvantages: Smell, can block pores
...I'm having a hard time deciding where to start on this one. On one hand, I used More than a Moisturising Fluid for more than 6 months and loved it. On the other, I've since realised that it wasn't really compatible with my problem skin.
Maybe the best place to start is right at the beginning. Before I tried this product, I was used to using rich moisturisers that often sat on top of my skin and balled up. As my main priority was protecting my fair skin from UV damage, I compromised suitability for SPF. When I realised that this was a big mistake, I promptly started looking for something that wasn't quite as heavy.
At the time I was going through a bit of a Garnier phase and More than a Moisturising Fluid caught my eye - quite a feat for something placed on the bottom shelf, but then I was scrutinising the Garnier display. According...

A Simple way to keep your skin soft and smooth
Review of Simple Everyday Rich Moisturiser- Normal to Dry Skin by
Lizamabug
Advantages: Thorough hydration, quick absorbtion, hypoallergenic, unperfumed
Disadvantages: None
...MY SKIN NEEDS
As a teenager I found it most distressing that although I was relatively spot-free, I suffered from dry flaky skin to the extent whereby I could not apply foundation evenly. I must have spent a small fortune on exfoliating products and moisturisers over the years trying to find a way to get a smooth complexion. Readers of my other reviews might recall my saying how sensitive my skin is and how prone to rashes and allergic reactions I am so not only was I desperate to find a product that would smooth over my flaky complexion but I also had to find one that didn’t bring my face out in a rash or make me sneeze!
After a substantial amount of money and a variety of colourful and intricate rashes, I finally found what I was looking for in the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser (previously called Simple Everyday Rich...

If only I was as rich as this colour!
Review of Avon Ultra Colour Rich Renewable Sheer Lipstick by
ally2kc
Advantages: Really rich moisturising colour
Disadvantages: does eventually need re-applying
.... Although I would agree, it does last longer than many lipsticks, by midday I am in need of a touch up. Having said that, this is pretty good going because I usually need to re-apply by the time I get into work in the morning.
***Conclusion***
To compliment all the other fantastic Avon products you really must buy, get this rich, moisturising lipstick to add the finishing touches....
