Advantages: fragrance-free, non-irritating

...I remember using Roc when it first appeared on the European market. It was fragrance free and I bought it in the pharmacy store. The tubes where in a plain white and grey/silver. When I recently stumbled across Roc, as it now arrived heavily advertised on the American market, the packaging has got some colour! The price is now around $ 17 (about 12 GBP). I found that the formula itself seems to have changed a bit. The cream now appears a bit heavier in consistency. I was quite satisfied with it's performance on my combination skin (always a problem with those dry areas). As a result of the change it formula I think that a tube now simply doesn't last as long anymore, which makes this now a more expensive product. If you needn't look for inexpensive, I can only highly recommend this product!... Read review

Advantages: Good nourrishing power
Disadvantages: You have to use a lot of it

...This used to be my favourite day cream, I used it for about 6 months... If found it reduced to £4.99 in Wolworths and bought a big supply. However, they stopped selling it and it costs at least £15.00 in other places ( Boots, Superdrug, chemists...). I've gone back to Clarins as I'm not that much of a ROC fan that I want to spend that much on a cream... My chief aim when choosing a day cream is to get one that protects from Sun damage. This one fits the rule as it has an SPF of 15, the average protection in all weathers. ROC Hydra+ Effect Reservoir comes in a smooth plastic tube, white with dark blue writing. The good thing about this is you can cut it open easily when you reach the end of the tube, and find there is lots more left in there, hiding in the crevices... ...I started using Roc products a few years ago when I was lucky enough to be offered a job at one of the Johnson & Johnson divisions. One major bonus - Johnson & Johnson products at majorly discounted prices in the staff shop! I have to say I paid about £5.00 for this 40ml tube and its totally worth it at that price and you could probably find it at around the same price down your local market. After all, its by a reputable brand and where else could you find a quality moisturiser and foundation in one for much less. However, it retails somewhere between £14.99 and £19.99 and at these prices I think its a bit pricey for what you get & there's many quality brands you could buy for far less. Anyway, so what is it? Well, its an all day (24 hour) moisturiser with a tint, so its a nice and light foundation for day wear. No make-up base... Read review

I believe that moisturising your face is a very important part of your daily regime. Recently I transferred my allegiance to RoC Hydra + SPF. Why was that? Simply because my previous moisturiser just wasn't up to the job. ...eye area is slightly smoother in contour. This moisturiser has lasted quite well, which is good considering the price of this cream. I will continue to look for alternative moisturisers, as this is out of my budget and simply does not do anything that remarkable to my skin. There is a fair range of products available, from; Anti-stretch mark Body Cleansing Complete lift Hydra+ Hydra+ destressant Renewex Retin-ox Retin-ox illuminator Retin-ox multi correction Out of all of these products I have used three of them, two being eye creams, as with many things I suppose they may have mastered the eye creams, and still have room for improvement with other products. ...The important thing about RoC Retin-Ox Correctiom (in fact, all RoC products) is perseverence. No one should reasonably expect instant results, but we do unfortunately live in a society where instant gratification is not soon enough. I have been using this particular RoC product, along with the rest of the face care range, for over 5 years and I will never consider using another product. It took about 3 months before I began to notice some improvements and it has without doubt not only slowed down the wrinkly process that is inevitable with age, it has improved my skin. My sister lives in Australia and I see her once a year. On her last visit she was convinced I had had a face lift since last seeing her (she is unable to buy Roc in Oz so I post it to her). ...Ladies (and Gents), the future is here and it's in the form of RoC Protinent which really does do what it says on the bottle. I confess to be fanatical about skin care (my mum taught me well) and over the years have tried just about every product that we are bombarded with daily. Some of them are pretty good but generally you find that one or two fibs are told in order to entice those amongst us who are eagerly searching for that magic product that will give us the appearance of having stepped back 5 years in time or spent huge amounts of cash on cosmetic procedures. Whilst RoC Protinent is not technically a skin care product, I feel comfortable in putting it into that category as it really should be used as part of our daily skin care regime. ...Facial wipes are best used in moderation, for these times when you come back in the early hours but are still conscious enough to remember that cleansing is a primordial and unavoidable beauty ritual. I always keep a packet of them for these lazy times when the whole tone/cleanse/moisturise is just too much to cope with... So the last packet I had happened to be form Roc; this is because I trust this brand, and more important, they had been reduced to something like £3.00 in Superdrug form a more forbidding £4.99. They come in the customary plastic packaging, with an ultra sticky bit of selotape to clos it securely ( very important as the wipes can dry up very fast ). Advantages: many different styles on album, masterful editing

...Deejay Punk-Roc perhaps could be considered one of those picky artists, uncategorisable because of their brilliance and originality. Is he rock, dance, big beat, hip hop ?? Is he all of these?? Or is he simply... Punk-Roc style? This album features his biggest hit My Beatbox, which I am sure you will have heard the groundbreaking fat tones of, as well as many other truly original tracks such as I Hate Everybody, and Track 2 - which I can't remember the name of except that it is truly excellent, with a great lyrical section. This guy is a master cut-and-paster, a truly legendary DJ and a wonderful artist. It's hard really to recommend this to a particular type of music fan. Hard dance fans is who might like it most, maybe hip-hop even. Find a track and listen, but beware - the whole album does sound different,... enjoy!... Read review
