...Having scanned the TV Guide and realised Rocky 5 was on, I felt this sudden urge to write a review about it. I have watched Rocky so many times, but what came to my mind was one of my History lessons a couple of years a go. I hope you will find the new spin on Rocky 5 interesting. I could write about the film, which I am sure most of you have watched. Yes, it’s very good, Stallone is very good and after a long and traumatic road come up triumph. But, I just want to remind some people of the politics behind this film. It was made when the Cold War was at it’s peak, this film was a American propaganda against the Russians. It was essentially about capitalism versus communism about America versus Russia. When, you watch the film very few will be aware about this. The Russians are portrayed in a very negative light... Advantages: Good Intro To The Man
Disadvantages: Not His Best

.... "Nothing In Return" is unrequited love song and if had been treated differently would have been terrible as it veers too close to the middle of the road for my liking. "Burn The Flames" explores Rocky's love of horror and is a mid paced country/folk/ rock thing that works in a really sinister manner, as you know that Rocky is not definitely playing with the same pack of cards that you are, even though he may be playing the same game. "Bermuda" is a punky homage to the devils triangle, spoilt in parts by cheesy keyboards but this was the 80's and even Rocky was not immune to some of the stupidity that went on during that decade, but it is still a great song, and at the end Rocky sound possessed when he is screaming "That is The Way of BERMUDA" "You Drive Me Crazy" could have been written and recorded by Buddy Holly and is simply a great bit... ...My favourite places in the world lie along this road. I want to die here. The Icefields Parkway runs along the backbone of The Rockies from Banff to Jasper. The views are simply awesome and I will take some convincing that you will see better anywhere. My personal favourite is Peyto Lake where, from a high viewpoint, we sat looking over the glacial blue lake with jays chattering in our ear and what seemed like a thousand miles of deep, pristine, treefilled valley stretching to the arctic. There is a large service area and comfortable motel half way along the road, so there is no need to rush. Becker Chalets at the northern end of the road provide cheap and comfortable riverside log cabins. At its summit, the road passes over the tip of a glacier and you can take a trip in a special bus up onto the glacier itself. The whole trip... Read review

...Rocky II, The second out of the six, If you have not seen the first Rocky this film might be hard to understand but it will still be a good film and worth watching, The main story of Rocky II is that Apollo Creed the guy Rocky had to fight in Rocky one wanted a rematch because he said Rocky was just lucky and this time he is going to show him who is champion, So Rocky agrees and its training time for Rocky again, He also gets married to the love of his life Adrian ( The girl he met in the first Rocky) and he goes around spending the money he made from the last fight, but then he had no money left and no job and he was not aloud to fight because the doctor told him he would go blind if he did, and Adrian would not let him, But in the end she lets him after she had a near death experience giving birth to there son. ~~~The Fight... Advantages: Bon Jovi's best
Disadvantages: Its from 1994 so none of their new hits

...I recently bought ‘Cross Road' the best of Bon Jovi and have to say that I am very impressed. After hearing bits of it on the sixth form CD player I thought it sounded good so decided I would buy it. I now know that the whole album is just as good as the bits I've heard before. The album does, of course, have a very rocky feel to it which as a Queen fan appealed to me. But what I really like is the guitar riffs of The wonder Richie Sambora as a guitar player myself. The album will definitely encourage me to buy more of the Bon Jovi albums (I am open to suggestions as to which is best bearing in my that my favourite songs on cross road include ‘Always' and the wonderful ‘ Someday I'll Be Saturday night'). If you don't currently own this album but like rock I strongly recommend you go out and get it.... Read review

...I have used ON 100% Whey many times now and it truly is a very high quality protein powder. It comes in a variety of flavours and sizes and from personal experience i would say that chocolate or choc mint are the best flavours. Having Tried Cookies n Cream (too sweet) / Rocky Road (very chemical taste) and Double Rich Choc (not as good as ordinary choc) i would say stick to the usual flavours. It is a little bit more expensive than it's rivals because it contains aminogen but it is very high quality. I would recommend getting the 10lb Bag from Monster Supplements as its only just over £50 there and that is great value for 10lb of top-notch protein powder. ...Ok, as a self confessed "pig", I am always more than eager to review products that involve me eating them, this next product was my last tub of "research!". The product I will now review is "Asda's extra special rocky road ice-cream". The tub the ice-cream comes in is a 1 litre plastic tub with the colour scheme being beiges and taupe's, ok sounds boring doesn't it, it in fact gives a very stylish effect to the product and as this is part of the "extra special" range I assume that is the desired effect. Down the side is the extra special logo, and across the top is the name of the product with a brief description of the ice-cream. This tub, as with most of the other flavours in this range comes with a lift off plastic lid, the bonus with this is the fact it is resealable, this is not something I usually have to worry about, as my ice... In the past few years (now that she's making quite a name for herself) many of Evanovich's pre-Plum romance novels have been released. The Rocky Road to Romance is one such book.
