Royal Canin Persian 1 to 10
Review of Royal Canin Persian 1 to 10 years by
Martinscholes
Advantages: Works really well, cats love it
Disadvantages: None
...Royal Canin Persian 1 to 10 is a special cat food that is designed for Persian cats between the ages of 1 to 10.
It is specially designed and formulated by veterinary surgeons for Persian cats between those ages.
The food is formulated to provide your Persian kitty with all of the nutrients and vitamins that they could possibly need.
But it is more than that. Anyone who has kept a Persian cat knows the misery of hairballs. Royal Canin Persian 1 to 10 (otherwise known as Persian 30) is specifically designed to help alleviate the problems of hairballs before they even start.
Most modern Persian cats have well-rounded heads and flatter faces than the standard Persian cats of yesteryear. As a result, Persian cats can find difficulty with eating. The shape of the individual pellets of Royal Canin Persian 1 to 10 is designed to help...

Fat Cats Read This
Review of Royal Canin Feline Nutrition by
ginaceltia
Advantages: Does what it says and cats like it.
Disadvantages: Can't buy it in the supermarket
...There is no way of avoiding the issue-my cat is rather overweight. That is, he was, until I discovered this great low calorie cat food. Not only does it supply exactly the right amount of nutriton without the calories - he simply loves it. You know how it is - you find a great food your cat likes and then a couple of weeks later they turn their nose up and refuse to eat any more. Well I have been feeding him Royal Canin's Slim 37 for two months now, without the slightest whiff of fussiness. Niw I have a slimmer cat who is quite happy and very healthy indeed. You may not think obesity in pets is that important but my vet reassures me it can cause significant health problems in later life. Royal Canin's Slim 37 is widely available in the larger pet stores, however I can find it in my local pet shop too. So it may be worth asking...

Good Food For Your Cat
Review of Royal Canin Feline Nutrition by
Procumbens
Advantages: Good variety for various conditions, natural products used
Disadvantages: A bit pricy especially if you want to buy a few different varieties at the one time
...I have 4 cats and sometimes I found that after using a complete cat food a few times they would start turning their noses up at it and it would be wasted.
One day I was in a specialist Pet Store and they were giving away samples of the Royal Canin Feline Nutrition food, and I was given a few sample packets to try. When I fed these to my cats they ate them at the rate of sound so consequently I went back to the shop and bought some. I have one particularly "fussy eater" so I bought her the biscuits for Fussy Cats which she loved.
Another of my cats was having trouble with excema, and Royal Canin have a variety for Hair and Skin. After feeding this, she hasn't had anymore trouble.
Another variety I have used is one for Indoor cats which has less calories in it than for outdoor cats and as my cats are indoors I find this really useful as you...

Pussy's Prefer It.
Review of Royal Canin Feline Nutrition by
Bigbaz
Advantages: High nutrition value, aids clean teeth and gums &b the cats love it.
Disadvantages: None that I have found.
...Given that most cat food smells gross before consumption and even worse after consumption I was more than pleased to be given a sample of a dry food that was supposes to do neither when I first bought a Maine Coon cat.
First I must tell you that the cat food reviewed here is Royal Canin Maine Coon 31, which is one of fourteen varieties that make up the Royal Canin feline nutrition range. This range has been specifically tailored to provide the correct nutritional requirements for three species of cat namely Siamese, Persian and Maine Coon, and also to cover foods for baby cats, kittens, indoor cats, mature cats and other types. Should you require further information on one of these foods I suggest you take a look at the Royal Canin website which is full of useful information.
You may well ask why I consider that the Maine Coon...

Royal Canin are the best!
Review of Royal Canin Feline Nutrition by
amylovelace
Advantages: Complete food full of all needed nutrients - many varieties to choose from
Disadvantages: No variation in flavour, water is essential with dry food
...When I first decided to get a cat I did some research into the best diet for my cat.
RECCOMMENDATIONS
Online there is a lot of contradictory advice on whether to feed cats tinned / dry or complete.
People try and tell you that cats need a varied diet... Royal Canin do not think this is the case - however, every now and then I will treat my cat to a little tinned food or tuna. Tinned is best for hiding tablets!
My local pet shop reccommended Royal Canin above all others. They told me that it had the highest content of digestible product in it - and Royal Canin have done a lot of research into all of their products - they have been producing food since 1967. The shop even gave me a few free samples (which Royal Canin usually supply) so that I could see if my cat would like it or not.
When I took my cat for his first vaccinations, I...

Fit & Sensible with a little Kitten thrown in.
Review of Royal Canin Feline Nutrition by
dracoiratus
Advantages: Relatively odor free and keeps well
Disadvantages: Seems expensive
...I currently have three cats and have had two others in the time I've been feeding them with Royal Canin cat food and they've all thrived on it.
I discovered Royal Canin about 4 years ago at the National Cat Show at Olympia where I purchased a small bag of the Fit variety to try out on my cats. At the time, they were on Iams dry food but they were showing signs of getting bored with it despite the different flavours available.
Whenever you change your pets' food, it's always advisable to introduce the new food gradually, so this I did over a period of several days, giving them a mixture of old and new with an increasing amount of the new food and less of the old food, until they were solely eating the new stuff.
I noticed a difference in their eating habits straight away, they were much more keen on the new biscuits and started...

Everything for furry friends
Review of Zooplus by
cslaver
Advantages: Good selection
Disadvantages: Not all the major brands stocked
...When we were getting our kitten I did a trawl of all the pet websites to try and find the best. While I registered with a few it sems to be zooplus that I keep going back to.
We ordered a quite alot in our first order. The food (royal canin) and water fountain are about the same price as other websites.
They have a brilliant selection of sracthing posts and toys and some seriously cute catnip toys. I found myself spending far too much on toys!
There is also a good selection of litter trays and pet carriers.
While they have a good selection of litters, they don't stock worlds best which we were recomended as using.
There is quite often offers where you get a free toy with bags of food.
The navigation of the site is pretty easy to use.
Shipping is free on orders over £29 and even below that it's only £2,90. Shipping is quick...

The best dog I ever had
Review of West Highland Terrier by
Jossland
Advantages: loyalty, fun, brave, intelligent, very protective , good with kids
Disadvantages: I am the BOSS
...up on Eukanuba then having difficulty finding it he went on Royal Canin. Dry food in the morning and in the evening I cooked chicken and rice for him (his favourite) or he had Ceasar. He never had skin problems.
He was excellent with babies, kids and people. When I had to leave him for a couple of days with my daughter or neighbour, on my return he would tell me off first and then nibble my fingers whilst wagging his tail.
When chasing rabbits or pheasants he would ignore all commands.
He was incredibly funny but he was the boss....

No more windy pops!!
Review of Burns by
Brightpinkstar
Advantages: Cost effective, good for your dog.
Disadvantages: Availability
...Let me explain about Burns dog food. Its a dry biscuit type of food which is hollistic and made primarily of meat, in the case of the one we use chicken, nothing that wouldnt be fit for human consumption. And rice to bulk the food up and add fibre. Certain oils are added too. There are various types available such as chicken and rice, lamb and rice, a weight control variety and one for puppies and small breeds.
When we took our Labrador Harvey to dog training classes the trainer recomended Burns to us. Apparently feeding your dog the wrong diet can cause behavior problems, not that our dog really has any but he can be a little crazy due to being a young dog.
We were using Royal Canin, which in the North Of England is even harder to get hold of than Burns!! We tried Pedigree Chum, Hills Science Plan and others, we found...

These are from test papers and essays submitted to science and health teachers by junior high, high school, and college students around the world. It is truly astonishing what weird science our young scholars can create under the pressures of time and grades.
