...On the 10 of September 2000 a the first death in F1 took place in Monza, Italy. Fire Marshall Paolo Ghislimberti was tragically killed when a tyre from a jordon struck him on the head. Blame for the accident has been firmly blamed on Heinz Harold Frenzen for the accident by Rubens Barrichello but Race Stewards passed it as a racing accident. The tradgic death of Paolo Ghislimberti is the first death in the world pf formula 1 since May 1st 1994 when Aryton Senna was tragicaly killed in San Marino in Italy. A new regulation for the 2000 season was a system that keeps wheels from parting with the car. This had obivously failed and parted from the car killing the marshall. Advantages: Great track
Disadvantages: Intimidating atmosphere

...Monza is famous for being the home of Italian motor racing. In fact, Italy is the only country to hold 2 grand prixs a year regularly by claiming one as the San Marino grand prix. It is also the home of the banked curves from the old 50s track. These still remain at the circuit but are no longer used. Every year,the Ferarri mad Italians (the Tifosi) make the pilgrimage to Monza to watch their scarlet Machines do battle with the worlds elite motor car producers in order to be Formula 1 constructors champions.I say CONSTRUCTOR'S CHAMPION because they dont follow the drivers. They follow the car. They do not care if Michael Schumacher is Driving or Margaret Thatcher, as long as Ferarri wins. ...There is no way that the British eurovision song entry would ever win,the song could have been written by by the best songwriter in the world,but the United kingdom has been sent into Eurovision coventry.. There are many reasons for this,the main reason seems to b the governments foreign policy. The song was okay but lets be honest it was never going to win,it really didn't have that Europen catchy link..plus theres the Eastern European link all friends together voting for each other,,hey thats cool but who has Britain got in our Euro gang?..Well this year it was Ireland and San Marino. ...stunning performances. (Wins at San Marino and Montreal). However, there are still a lot of problems with the reliability of the cars, with more failures than finishes. But, I am sure that the team will overcome these problems and finish a solid third in the Constructors championship this year. Next year I am sure they will challenge Ferrari and McLaren for the number one slot. The driver combination of Ralf Schumacher and Juan-Pablo Montoya is not a great personal friendship. Ralf has proved that he can win races (even beating his brother) and I am sure he will win many more races for Williams. Montoya came to the team in a blaze of glory, but as yet is still to prove that F1 is the formula for him. ...The Eurovision Song Contest- a contest which certainly does not deserve my 12 points, or any of my time! Nowadays, the Eurovision song Contest is not a showcase of singing talent across the European countries - it is simply a game - a political game, which sees countries voting for their neighbours, and closest friends. And is the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 any exception ? Of course not.... its all still about politics. This year, the UK was represented by Andy Abraham... runner up in the X Factor a few years ago. Now, undeniably, it was the first decent song we have entered with within the past few years... and was it enough, to put everything in shortness... no, it was not. The UK, only received votes by 2 Countries... that unsuprisingly being Ireland and San Marino, who gave us 6 points. I feel this is so embarrassing... Read review
