...laptop, the only thing I didn't appreciate was all the stickers over the inside (to the left of the mouse pad), there is a "Desiged for XP" sticker, and "Intel Inside" sticker, one "Bundled with MS OneNote 2003" and a final "Surround Sound" which personally I dont like (hense I removed the last two) I have recomended this laptop to other people who have been looking, Toshiba have many different spec's in the Satellite Pro models, and the final thing about this laptop, the name, "what laptop do you have?" There is nothing more I love saying then "a Satellite Pro"... Read review

Advantages: Low distortion, good quality, small satellites
Disadvantages: can be over bassy, large bass box

...What you get… Single page setup diagram that even a monkey could understand. The bass box with an 8” 27 watt driver unit. Two Small satellite speakers one with volume control and treble bass adjustment. The satellites also tilt to obtain optimum sound quality. A three-page user guide is also included in many languages. The speakers were very easy to set up, plug the hefty 4 amp 12v power supply “brick style” into a 13amp socket and the other end into the sub / amplifier unit. Place the unit on the floor somewhere as the bass unit is not magnetically shielded. A piece of carpet may be useful under the bass unit if you have a hard floor. You then plug the right hand satellite speaker into the bass unit with an all in one lead for volume control bass etc. and then plug the left hand speaker into the right hand... Read review

Advantages: Brilliant trubrite screen gives pin sharp image
Disadvantages: keyboard is tight

...Recently upgraded from a Toshiba Satellite 2450 so slightly biased in favour of the brand which I've found to be robust and reliable. This baby is cuter in terms of the graphic capability especially with the 17" trubrite screen which gives a wonderfully clean image - definitely it's biggest selling point. It also has the DVD RW capability plus WiFi which are essential upgrade features. On the matter of upgrades, I like the fact that you can access the memory mode bay on the underside rather than a complex fiddle with keyboards to reach the RAM chips. Speaking of keyboards, this is my one gripe with the Pro. The keyboard's a bit tighter and I find it too easy to hit the up key instead of the Right shift key which is intently irritating. ...this laptop is great, i have bought this for my fiance and my current also toshiba satellite range laptop, although the original battery has just died so that lasted 7years!! its been upgraded to highest spec and the cpu isnt as high as toshiba states its only a 450mhz soi not good for games or very fast on the internet. apart from that its a very good laptop, very loyal for a 7year old laptop i love it. it can have 320mb ram tops and a 20gb hdd so basic really, not alot i can say apart from the speakers have goner after 7years pmsl. spare parts for this isnt that expensive thoug a battery is onlt 30 new and a lead 30 new and memory is 256mb for 20.... The recommendation was spot on. The Satellite Pro 4320 is a top quality product. I take it everywhere and keep in touch with business and friends without any problem. A completely dependable machine, available in a broad range of specifications to suit the requirements of anyone. The modem is excellent quality. DVD and graphics - miniature cinema quality. The screen size (14") is suitable for graphics / CAD applications. Keyboard sound (although some letters are rubbing away through constant use). ...Toshiba, one of the best names in laptop computers about and if you are looking to pay a little less for your laptop but want a good machine then the new Satellite Pro L40 is ideal. It hasn't got dual core but at the end of the day who really needs this. This laptop is and ideal buy for any company that gives laptops to their employees, or whether you want a machine to potter about at home on. Extremely stylish and lite weight, this can be carried anywhere with you and has wi-fi so if you require it for business purposes then don't worry you can still log on in your hotel room. 512MB RAM is quite enough for any user, in my job the files produce are of extreme size and there is no problem storing all this on this machine. CD / DVD RW also included which is a bonus. The only downfall is that this laptop comes with no software... Read review

...The Toshiba brand has always been noted with mass gratitude for solid and robust piece-of-art laptops and particularity, the Satellite Pro A200 is not an odd exception, not a disappointment. The Satellite Pro offers Intel new processor technology as far as concerned. This advantage gives the user open options for use of softwares and applications compatible with the new technology of duo-core. Still the duo-core processors are robust, at least 1.5GHZ that reach 3.0GHZ (TSP has 1.73GHz Core 2 Duo CPU), with twos HEARTS as the two cores! The processor is relaxed with the 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory (better than DDR1). all though, it's not advised for windows vista. Vista requires 2GB.
