...The Wave Race 64 team is at it again, and this time its on the snow slopes. Miyamoto took the genious design team possibly made the best N64 racer, and exchanged the Kawasaki Jet-Ski’s for Lamar Snow boards. No, literally, that’s what they did. 1080 Snowboarding can be best described as Wave Race 64… in the snow. 1080 retains the same options and game play modes that were featured in Wave Race 6. Miyamoto and the design team did obtain new licenses for this wintry racing game. As mentioned, Nintendo signed on Lamar to provide models of their Snow boards for use in the game (my favorite being the Tahoe 155). Not only did they manage to obtain usage of the snowboards, but they acquired rights for Tommy Hilfiger clothing! Each racer has their own Tommy Gear outfits that will brighten up the TV set during your races... Read review

...~Experience~ If you all of a sudden have the urgency for extreme acceleration, then the Burton Fusion snowboard is the anser. This is one of my favorite speed snowboards for more than one reason. It is slick, and stylish and will give you that extra boost to achieve extreme speed and velocity. I purchased my Fusion board a couple months ago at a local snowboard shop. I bought it a couple months pre-owned, but whoever owned the snowboard last really kept it in prestine condition. I could even hardly tell it was used, somebody was really fond of this board that is all I know. Well, now it is mine, so I am glad whoever owned it last gave it up so I could have it. ...The first thing that hits you about this snowboarding game is it looks. It looks superbs. A lot of work has been taken to make this one of the best snowboarding games graphically, and it has paid off. However, not alone does it look good it plays good. The handling of the boards feels so real, with many many different tricks and stunts to try on the different courses. When you have the hand of it, you will feel like you control the game as there is so much to explore on the different courses. The secrets hidden away are worth finding as well, and the 2 player mode is lots of fun to play with friends. ...No, that would not be such a good idea. Once you try out the Burton Floater you might all of a sudden get the feeling that you are floating. Pretty cool, huh? Anyway I tried my experience with the Burton Floater when I went on my vacation to Utah which I do about 4 times a year. They are known mainly for their really good skiing and snowboarding slopes. So this is where I usually go snowboarding. I was lucky enough to get to try this snowboard out on new powder. They had just dumped additional powder on, but took the time to smooth it out which made riding on this snowboard a lot more beneficial. I rented the board out just to try something different for a change. I got to experience the Burton Floater for 3 days in a row. I liked it so much that I payed the hefty price of a 3 day rental anyway. The money was put to good use, because... Read review

...This game is almost perfect, the game takes snowboarding, adds a little arcade action and churns out what has to be the best snowboarding game I have ever played! The graphics are amazing, using the PS2 very well, you have to take into account that these are first generation graphics for the PS2, so what to expect when developers have mastered programming for the PS2is just unknown... The game focuses more on tricks than previous SnowBoarding games, if you pull off a trick you get boost, boost is used as a turbo to get you further up the line. Players have to get a balance between racing and pulling off tricks in order to master the game. The controls are simple and very effective, the shoulder button are dedicated to tricks, pressing them in a certain oreder will unleash a certain trick. The sound is great, although I don't like... ...Sorry about the title, I could not think of anything that would perfectly fit the description of this particular Burton snowboard. This has to be one of my favorite Burton snowboards for way more than one reason. First, it still remains affordable, but you get an exceptional custum board. Made the way you want it so it can fit your personal individual taste. You also have the option of this board to bear the Burton logo in any part of the board you want. There is quite a selection of designs to choose from so your board is perfectly what you want. I am actually starting to form a collection of my own snowboards that I can use throughout the season. This was one of the boards I especially purchased about 5 months ago while I was on vacation in Utah. I did try it out on the slopes about 7 times, and the performance was excellent on just... ...I brought this camera for a recent snowboarding trip, I didn't want to take a digital camera in case I dropped it in the snow, so I brought this relatively cheap APS camera. this camera is very simple to use and has some nice features. the on button is a slide switch, so when the camera is turned off it covers the lens and disables the shutter button. this basically means you cant take any pictures when the camera is in your pocket and you wont have a scratched screen either. when I was on my snowboarding trip I used ISO 400 films and I got some really excellent shots, they were clean, crisp and was no blurring, even when we were carving and spraying snow into the air. if anyone is going snowboarding and doesn't want to take their expensive digital camera then I would recommend this camera. ...I recently purchased a Playstation 2 for my husband (I couldn't take any more of the whinging!) and along with it purchased SSX: Snowboard Super-cross. The first thing I thought was that the graphics on this game were incredibly good. Not to the extent that it looks like you're watching a DVD, but still good. The main objective is to finish first in the race, but if you do "tricks", like spinning in mid-air and so on, you get points and your adrenaline meter goes up, which if you press square gives you a speed boost. The courses are quite long, one of them is about six minutes long, and they have lots of off-track courses and secrets hidden in them. It is difficult to get the hang of steering, jumping and landing, but when you get the hang of it, it's even more enjoyable, plus there's the added advantage of pushing over other... Read review

...Usually comedey game shows dont last more then about 2-3 years. Well Im not sure how long Buzzcocks has been going but its never worn thin. Every year they come back with a better guests, laughs and games! Philo Jupitous, sean hughes and Mark Lamar have made the show very personal and there realation ship comes through on screen. What the hell am i talking about? Its a GAMES SHOW not a overated Hollywood romance movie! I think Buzzcocks is one of the best comedys on tv and I hope they'll be makeing more in the future. I just hope they dont try any thing stupid like trading in the origanal 3 presenters and back-bones of the show for any 1 younger coz then we'll be lumbured with Billie and people want to kill her dont they!...
