This gives everything that you expect from a sony, unfortunetley this includes the price as with most of there other products, sony expects you to not only to pay for the product but also for the brand name. whereas other alternatives of the exact same spec tend to be less in price. having said that it is a very good laptop that if you do like myself trust the sony brand you mind paying a little extra for your peace of mind. If however you prefer value for money or do not have a budget to get you a sony then other more affordable examples exist. Advantages: Everyone thinks its cool.
Disadvantages: Its not as cool as everyone thinks.

...I bought this prduct beacause of all the hype that surrounds Nokia phones. However since purchasing my Nokia 3310, new phones such as the Seimans C35i and Sony J5 have appeared on the market and im my oppinion the are both alot better than the 3310. The Sony J5 is awesome, with great sounds, games and much more capability than my Nokia 3310. Ths Sony J5 is smaller lighter and battery life is alot better then that of the 3310. On the practical side the 3310 is ok, but the tones and games arnt really as good as those on the Sony J5. Also the sounds on the Nokia 3310 are just beeps the SOny J5 uses real sound and has a better speaker. Im not happy with my 3310 i wish i had a Sony J5.... Read review

...The current middle of the range Sony playback mini disc walkman, is great to look at. It has a spectrum effect dial on the face of the player. However, underneath there is a bulge where the AA batter fits. If not for the bulge, the player would look much better. The bulge is also quite irritating when the player is in your pocket. However, the sound quality as with all sony's is excellent. The stick remote is excellent for operating the machine. On the whole it is a good buy for a fair price.... Read review

Advantages: Excellent player and sound quality

...I chose this player because I trusted Sony and needed a player that had Solid state (flash) storage, but played videos. at the time of purchase, it seemed like the best option. I would buy it again today. The player interface is incredibly easy to use; the screen is bright, sharp and vivid; and the bundled headphones give magnificent sound quality. Sony have been criticized over their Sonic Stage software that is used for music transfer. I admit that it can be slightly awkward and slow, but generally it does the job well. My only complaint with the player itself is that the headphones have a very short lead, Sony include an extender, but it is easy to loose and it would be far better to have bundled a set of earphones with a longer cable. Overall, definitely worth it.... Read review

Advantages: Small and Sexy
Disadvantages: A bit fragile

...The Ericsson T28 is small and very slick... it's a far better design than the other Ericsson phones, even the new one, the Ericsson R320... This phone is not only small but it is very light... weighing in at 83g, a light weight contender!!! But I do find that this phone is rather weak and fragile... if you put it in your hand aand sqeeze, you can feel it breaking... unlike the Sony CMD Z1, which can take a lot of punishment... The T28 comes with 14 ring tones and a composer to compose your own tunes, obviously! The battery stand by time is 50hrs, the bettery talk time is 210mins and it takes 120mins to fully recharge... It has a flip cover... rather sexy... The only phone i'll get instead of the Ericsson T28 is the Sony Z5 and maybe the Nokia 8210...... Read review

Advantages: good weight, looks good, works well, good size, durable, 'easy to use' functions e.g.all the basics plus different displays, playback modes, track mark
Disadvantages: it comes with a case - but this case only protects from dust and scratches - not significant damage. the colour of its included remote control is always grey - and doesn't depend on the colour of recorder. The remote control scratches easily

...In 1998 I bought a Sony MZR55 portable mini disc recorder. I chose a Sony recorder because I think Sony has the best reputation for quality. I think it is one of the best portable mini disc players ever made. This is because it is extremely easy to use and has a nice weight and shape. It is available in three different cool colours: blue, silver and lime. I think the size of this model was hard to better by the later portable minidisc recorders. This may be because of the slimlined nickel rechargable battery - which i think is also an asset to this model. Also, the latest Sony recorders don't have all three of handy outlets that the MZR55 has: 'line in', 'line out' and 'mic' and aren't as easy to use. ...I love sony, I love the name, The style and the products. I wanted to research a new laptop im going to buy so i went along to my local croydon branch of the sony shop. The first thing that struck me was that it was a very small shop that would need about 3 staff to staff it, but their were 11 members of staff in a tiny shop just sitting their discussing unimportant matters, and when i inquired for help they just passed the task to another member of the shop untill one employee decided to move. The shop has a wide array of excellent products all with a lot of information about them. The shop is well set out and looks excellent but the staff let it down immensly. I dont know how much sony are wasting employing 8 staff to many but they must lose millions a year just for over staffing. I went to my Bromley sony shop and again... Read review

...I upgraded from a cheaper machine to the Sony dvd725 and I must admit I didn't think that there would be such a difference in overall quality between the two machines. The Sony is quite a good looking machine that is available in standard black or brushed silver finish. The first thing that strikes you when you spin a dvd in the Sony is the bright vivid colours that it outputs, the whites are outstanding (look like they've been washed with persil) the picture is vibrant to say the least, it would be difficult to imagine the picture could be better. The sony has an onboard 5.1 decoder so you can hook it up to your amp that has 5.1 pre-outs and enjoy dolby digital sound at its best without shelling out for a dedicated amp. ...At first glance the sony alpha a100 feals slightyly plastickly, but this is partly due to the fact that the body itself is made out of plastic, never the less the sony a100 is a fantastic digital sslr for the first time photograhper. Although it is slightly dissapointing that sony has not made a vertical grip for this product, overall the smooth shiny feal to the sony alpha a100, feals nice, and the shutter button fits snugguly into your right hand, however the camera is exceptional, but the custumer service is dreadful, when i accidently smashed my sony alpha 3 days after purchasing it, i was devistated, but not to worry, i was soon on to sony, and was relieved that there was a set price of £114 but i had to forck out a lumply sum of £360 to get it fixed.
