SONY CYBER-SHOT??? IMPRESSIVE!!!
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 by
Georgios4u
Advantages: Excellent pictures and the ofcourse equiped with the image stabilizing technology.
Disadvantages: Proprietary batteries and not surpisingly the "red eye problems".
...THE IDEA: This summer me and my girlfriend simply decided to do a bit of exciting travelling around Europe and capture all these exciting moments these trips offer you....
THE PROBLEM: Unfortunately neither of us owned a digital camera with the capability to offer a larger than 3 megapixel resolution than the previous camera we owned.....
THE SOLUTION: We have decided to purchase something more exciting and modern with the capability to offer us what we were looking for....a photography experience that would match the exciting sightseeings in Europe and a product worth of its money.
After an extensive research in the multi-world of digital cameras nowadays i am proud to be the owner of the exciting SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-T9 DIGITAL CAMERA.
A BIT OF INFORMATION: The DSC-t9 is six mega pixel digital camera maening that at maximum...

A decent camera
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 by
willi287
Advantages: Ultra Compact and looks great
Disadvantages: Bad in low light
...to nothing, you will end up PhotoShopping all your party pictures.
Movie mode is good, very sharp with quality. As with the still pictures, there is a setting to shoot in a 16:9 ratio for widescreen TV's.
The autofocus on this camera is a nightmare. On automatic settings it is hard to focus on anything far away. And even worse in low light areas. My first batch of pictures turned out like someone had rubbed fat on the lens - very poor. Things got better when i took it outside, but this is not good for the casual photographer. You have to fiddle with the settings constantly and if you are not a keen photgrapher like me then it is a matter of trial and error and a matter of deleting a load of unwanted pictures. To this day i have still not got to grips with the focussing.
:: Conclusion ::
A very nice looking camera that is sturdy in build. 6...

Sony W80 cybershot
Review of Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 by
y4s33n
Advantages: Size, Design, Price, Shutter speed, Picture quality
Disadvantages: Red-eye,
...with 7.2 mega pixels there is no messing around, this camera provides excelent picture quality with just a simple press on the shutter. photos came out excelent with very sharp details. Along with the auto-focus, the shutter lag speed is absolutely immense allowing one to take a picture almost instantly, or multiple with this camera.
the camera also offers up to 3x optical zoom and a further 3x digital zoom, once the camera goes in to digital zoom the picture quality begins to go lack somewhat.
sony top it all of with slim and stylish design of the small sized camera that will fit nicely in to your pocket. camera's durability was pretty impressive aswell, it withstood fallin many times on the floor aswell as falling in a swimming pool.
overall this camera is excelent value for money...

do only looks matter???
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
reemi
Advantages: sleek, elegant, sharp, attractive
Disadvantages: picture quality is not that good
...Panasonic has dissappointed us with this product of theirs. It Simply doesnt look to be Panasonic. I have used many 8 mega pixel cameras and this seems to be the worst one. But if you go for the looks and easy handling camera than you could have this as your choice. It has a stylish slim compact body and a wide angle Leica DC lens that can fit a wide image, but you can get this better with a Sony cybershot photography camera, but the cybershot wont be this stylish. Panasonic have got a great feel to the body i must say. It attracts you the moment you see it. A big Lcd adds to the looks. But if Panasonic works on the function aswell as the form, then i suppose there is going to be nothing like this. To people who wana buy this, i would recommend a Cybershot...

My Sony Cyber-shot
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W17 by
aleckjohnston
Advantages: Sleek Black with included picture package
Disadvantages: Needs large memory stick - due to high quality
...>. My Sony Cyber-shot .<
When purchasing a new digital camera, it is very hard to see to choose which one to buy as there are so many on the market, and now all the prices are being driven town. As background information I purchased my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W17 from www.amazon.co.uk for £202 - and those who have used amazon will truly know that the service provided is second to none. I shall start with the general technical jargon about the camera.
>. Technical .<
The camera will gently fit into your palm as its dimensions are 9.1 cm x 3.7 cm x 6 cm and weighing in at less than 0.2kg it is truly one that can be slid comfortably into the pockets of your jeans.
As stated above the camera is a jet black which is a pleasant change from all of this 'naf' silver that we see the these days. It does not comprimise technology with style...

Sony Cybershot W50 Digital Camera
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 by
es-vedra
Advantages: Compact size, good battery life, lots of useful features
Disadvantages: Having to remove battery to recharge it
...Sony have developed a reputation for producing high quality camera equipment at affordable-for-everyone prices. Their stylish designs go hand in hand with the performance of the products, and the Sony Cybershot W50 is no exception. Even though this camera is small enough to slip into your pocket, it still features a 2.5 inch bright colour lcd screen and captures a huge 6 megapixel image. There is a 3x optical zoom and can the W50 can enlarge up to 13x with smartzoom. The startup speed is shockingly quick at just over a second, meaning you may not have to miss those surprise moments that catch us all out after all. The battery life on this camera is also highly impressive, even when using flash, capturing video and leaving the lcd screen on. The only down side about this camera has to be that it cannot be recharged by simply plugging...

Digital camera for experts and beginners alike
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P12 by
Deef11
Advantages: High quality, Easy to use, compact
Disadvantages: Expensive
...The Sony Cyber-shot DSC P12 is an excellent digital camera. It's easy to use and follows the same format as all of the other Sony Cyber-shot DSC cameras. The superior picture quality is evident when viewing images on a PC, and combining this with a good quality printer and photo paper means hard copy images can be produced, which are easily as good as normal photos.
There is a huge range of available settings on the camera and this is helpful for more advanced photographers and beginners who wish to develop their skills. The easy to follow instruction manual also helps this development.
A large memory card is required with the camera and the 32Mb card provided is not sufficient for storing a weeks holiday snaps for example.
With the Sony Cyber-shot DSC range, you get what you pay for, with price reflecting quality. The DSC P12...
