...I have recently purchased the W810i, I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson but this is the best model I have had so far. I have upgraded my phones memory card to 2GB (from the standard 512mb card (0.512GB). I have currently around 200 mp3 files at a bit rating of 320Kbps. I also have 3 movies stored on the phone (which is about 4 hours of 3gp (mpeg4). I also have around 12 games also stored on the phone and still have 1.3GBs left! I use my phone for recording my lectures at university. It also has the ability to record 4+ hours of video on highest quality with the 2GB card upgrade. I have just recently downloaded the new Sims 2 for the Sony Ericsson its fun. The best thing is you can play games while still listening to your mp3s. Advantages: everything you need from a phone

...hey everyone I bought this phone (sony ericsson v630i) just over 6 months ago now and am still finding out all of its truly amazing features that it has to offer. firstly being sold at a retail price of just £150 when i bought it and this maybe cheaper now, straight out of the box it is a good quality phone that feels very well made and strong (mine has resisted being put in the washing machine and being thrown across a park with only cosmetic scars to show for it. this makes it a great phone for kids as they might drop it or damage it with out it breaking now down the technical stuff. This cheap phone has been equipped with a 2mp camera that can take still shots as well as long video footage perfect for days out. although 2mp may seem a lot but the resolution is not quite as good as its competitors and Sony ericsson compatriots... ...Like many people, i had the Sony Ericsson K750i and once the joystick gave up on me, i decided to go for this, the latest model Sony Ericsson without that annoying joystick that always packs up after a few months. This is basically the same as a K750i, the same size and shape but minus a joystick and a nice 5 key navigation instead which works just as well. When the phone is turned on, you have a choice of two, one to start the phone and the other just to have music, the latter so you are able to listen to music in a plane without having the phones wireless turned on. Starting the phone brings up the Walkman animated logo and the screen quality is a lot clearer than a K750i, which was good enough already! The menus are the same as any Sony Ericsson mobile, very clear and animated along with the fantastic amount of customisation... Read review

Disadvantages: Weaknesses: Expensive, no 3.5mm jack, small keypad buttons, no activity screen (the K750 has one)

.... Reception is fair. I've seen worse, and I've seen better. TIPS: 1) Use the Sony Ericsson update software---it helps. 2) Use the Sony Ericsson Support site send configuration information to your phone. It will save you having to call your provider's tech support and enter the settings manually. 3) Consider the K750. The internal hardware is actually the same, just with a different exterior and software and less bundled items (no Memory Stick and lousier handsfree set). It's possible to change the software to the W800 if you're courageous. Also a common problem with this type of phone is the joysticks tend to break after about a year. Expensive to repair.... Disadvantages: This isn't as small as some phones outthere but is certainly smaller than the Nokia n91 which is its main competitor

...It appears to me that the mobile phone manufacturers have discovered a great new way to get us to part with our cash. They take an already existing phone and make it a brand new colour. They add no new features and nothing of any interest except a new hew. My wife has a pink Motorola Slvr that she just "had to have" Don't let this distract you though from what a great phone the Sony Ericson W810i is. Downloading and storing songs on this item is fantastic my computer automatically recognised it as a separate drive without having to download any software. That meant I could simply drag my music into the folder and I was ready to roll. Collating playlists is quite time consuming but very simple to do. ...I bought this mobile from eBay for an excellent price of £137. Previously, I had a Sony Ericsson in the past. I must admit this is the best mobile phone I have owned so far. Looks: Nice metal like finishing, very stylish. This mobile is very small and thin and gives everything you would expect from a mobile these days. Before purchasing I read bad comments about its previous version W880 related to small buttons, however W890 has excellent keyboard and navigation buttons. They are very small, however thanks to their design they are really easy to use. This is opinion from a male customer probably with hands slightly bigger than average. The headphone set comes with standard jack input so you can use any headphones you want, including Bluetooth as well. Inside: Traditional, easy to use menu. FM radio, MP3 player with great sound... ...Having previously owned the Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman I found this phone better. I found the clarity and loudness of the phone call to be much better, though still not as loud as some of the competition. The mp3 player was better because if a track was paused the MP3 player could be closed and later go back to it and follow on from the same point, very useful if you are listening to an audio book. The screen is reasonable in size and clarity and by using 3G able to view TV with the correct subscription. I personally like the headphones that come with the phone and find them very comfortable with prolonged use, my hearing is not the best but the sound seems okay to me. A 2MP camera is squashed into the slider phone and does an okay job but the flash is a little weak. The flash doubles as a torch and along with most of the other... Read review

...The Sony Ericsson W300i is a clamshell handset and is relatively cheap too. Sony Ericsson have taken some functionality off the phone in order to bring the cost down, but this phone is still excellent for listening to your music. The music player can support a huge range of audio formats. When you buy the phone you will get a 256 Mb memory card to store all your favourite tracks on. I think that the W300i is a great phone. It has the best sound quality of any phone I have had to date and I have had a few. The camera is good the features are great and whats more it is so easy to use and light and very clear when speaking . Well done Sony Ericsson. The sound when playing the music back is very good for a small phone, it also hold quite a lot of songs too, but you cna charge the memory card and put in a large one if you want to save...
