Reviews of sprint touch
retro no-no
Review of Retro Atari Classics (NDS) by
danrugby2005
Advantages: great past games relived
Disadvantages: terrible touch control
...This game includes centipede, breakout, asteroids, missile command, sprint, lunar lander, gravitar, warlords, tempest and the all time classic pong.
GAMEPLAY
the gamplay is very simple and easy to get the hang of without the touch control that total wrecks the gamplaty it has its like trying to press all the ds buttons with 1 hand while upside down. The fact of the NO SAVE OPTION gives you no goal or high scores to beat.
SOUND
The sound is very basic just bleeps and little else. I think i`ve heard better sounds on a jack-in-the-box.
GRAPHICS
The graphics were great at the time but that was then and now they look very very basic. With there giant pixels and non textured scenery.
VALUE
they tried to update the games with touch control and totally messed it up. but nothing else has changed in the slightest and when played...

SQUARE AND CIRCLE
Review of International Track and Field 2 (PSX) by
Jester247
Advantages: Good game, especially in multiplayer
Disadvantages: Could have more events
...Square and circle are the only two buttons you need to play the vast majority of this game. As the name suggests, it is an athletics game that has both track and field events. These events vary quite a bit from the 100m sprint to the 1000m canoeing (which, I am proud to say, I managed to break the world record on, an unbeatable feet surely!) and each event requires different skills and combinations to conquer it eg. the 100m sprint is just simply bashing buttons whilst the poinrs lost in here could be made up in the diving, where it is skill more than finger stamina that counts more.
Track and Field is great to play in multiplayer, as it makes for great competition between you and your friends, which can often result in a lot of fingers being worn to the bone as you bash away at the buttons to try and get a bigger and better score...

Review of Speedo Technical Sprint Deluxe Goggle by
Kuli2
Advantages: Anti-fog
Disadvantages: Non
...Speedo Sprint Deluxe Goggle's are great, i have used them mainly when participating in competitions. The goggles have many great attributes, the main things are that the strap that holds the goggles on your head can be made slacker or tighter. It depends on what you are doing, tight if you are diving and you dont want them to come off and slack if you are fun swimming.
The Sprint Deluxe Goggle's have a anti-fog agent on the lenses that cut down the amount of steam that gets on the lense. This works great and has cut down the amount of steam on the lense by about three quarters.
The goggles where about £10 when I bouught them but i dont know the current price. But if the price is still around £10 I can say that they are a low price for a pair of goggles that are so great....

There is no drugs in this olympics
Review of Athens 2004 (PS2) by
geodev4
Advantages: Addictive, realistic
Disadvantages: Some events hurt your fingers, controls aint great
...a lot cleare when you buy the game and are playing the event. *hint* 8.5/10
High Jump - This can be quite hard. You press O for your first stride and then when your just about to touch another foot mark you press X. You do this looking at the screen and when a big cross appears press L1. Its a good event. 7/10
Pole Vault - This one is not very good. It really hurts your fingers. Sprint as hard as you can With X and O then tap L1 and R1 as fast as you can to get up to a mark in a box. The higher you go the higher the mark is for you to hit. The press L1 when another line moves up the box. Again hard to explain. 4/10
Javelin Throw - Sprint using X and O until it says keypad lock. Move the left analogue stick to set your angle and then press L1 to release the Javlin. Good event 8/10
Discus Throw
and Shot Put.

This Lexmark budget colour printer eats your money
Review of Lexmark Z 615 by
Meewee
Advantages: small initial outlay - about £25
Disadvantages: reliability, price of ink
...'t noticed as the print was small and there was loads of it in every language under the sun (other than Manx, I notice)). Nooooooo!
Run down stairs, run to car, run back to house to get car keys, run to car, shoot off to PC World (obeying all speed restrictions, of course), sprint to USB leads, elbowing startled shoppers out of the way and muttering "I'm on Trigger Happy TV" to them by way of apology, dash to checkout, throw a tenner at the startled young man there, sprint to car, drive home (obeying all speed restrictions), sprint up stairs and collapse on floor.
Half an hour later and I had recovered enough to try and install the printer. Was straightforward enough as XP did the legwork (good job - my legs were shot).
Before printing there was a short nozzle alignment process to go through, which was generally okay, but one part involved...

Cracking Carbon
Review of Need For Speed Carbon (Xbox 360) by
rhyrhy1
Advantages: Great Graphics, Excellent car selection
Disadvantages: Very similar to previous ones, simple storyline
...driving down Carbon Canyon in their BMW M3 GTR being chased by cross, you theh come to a truck and you stop the car.Supra, in Palmont City (with Kenji, Angie, and Wolf racing against him).
Carbon allows for a considerably larger number of car customization options than the previous game in Most Wanted. The new AutoSculpt feature allows you to take stock after market parts such as spoilers and rims, and shape and mould them to your liking, adding and defining little touches, such as shape, contours, size, etc. It also allows you to layer as many vinyls as you like, which was previously not possible in Most Wanted; and pick from an enormous amount of colors, different paint types for your car, vinyls, rims and other various accessories. There is also the option to tune the performance for your cars by tweaking performance parts like...

Scotland vs France went nowhere slowly
Review of Scotland by
james.bridgeman
Advantages: Very few
Disadvantages: Sloppy, dull game, tainted by Townsend's early exit and poor ball control throughout
.... In a sprint for the line, Garbajoza was taken out by an excellent defensive tackle by the left corner flag. Murray stepped up to take a quick throw, and was blocked from doing so by the prone Garbajoza on the touch line. Murray nudged Garbajoza in an effort to move him, and Magne, taking exception to this perfectly fair action, took the law into his own hands and went for Murray, grabbing him and throwing him to the ground. One could not help but feel that this was Magne's way of venting his anger at the rest of his team's spiritless performance.
On the whole, this was one of the most disappointing and dull matches I have watched. The French were sloppy and lazy apart from a breif spell in the second half when they seemed to pick up the pace. The Scots deserved a win, and would have got one had their passing held up. They will be anxious to see...

Forget Haaland ... Roy What Have You Done
Review of International League Soccer (PS2) by
DarenD
Advantages: Nice picture of Roy Keane on front
Disadvantages: Avoid this like the plague
...-natural as they sprint across the pitch.
Taito have included an advanced weather effect , which basically means that when it is raining , the ball gets stuck in the mud, while if it is a hot sunny day , the ball glides across the pitch.
The commentary gets on your nerves after a while and can become irritating , there seems no fluidity in there words of wisdom. At the beginning of every match you are given an overhead view of the stadia which is a nice touch , however once the match has started , there are only two camera angles to view from , neither of which are too brilliant.
On a plus side there are plenty of competitions to choose from , including exhibition , league and cup formats , with a choice of 40 international teams to pick from. There is even an international league soccer world ranking competition, where as you progress, points are awarded...

I feel the need for speed (again)
Review of Need for Speed Underground 2 (PC) by
lunaticrik
Advantages: Graphics, Range of features, Longevity
Disadvantages: Need hi-end spec PC system to run, still always at night
...be played if you want to unlock extra cars, tracks and features in the Quick Race mode. You start off with the choice of a few everyday-style cars such as the Ford Focus, Peugeot 206GTI and the Honda Civic, typical 'boy/street racer' type cars. Select one and then its time to go race!
You are based in a city named 'Bayview' which is of an impressive scale, and is split into 4 main areas; further areas of the city can be unlocked later. It seems EA Games have taken a leaf from the highly successful Grand Theft Auto series. There is a handy map and GPS system to guide you from race-to-race and shop-to-shop.
The races are split into six categories Circuit, Sprint, Drift, Race-X, Drag and URL. This offers a welcome change from the usual circuit based gameplay 'normal' racing games offer
The Circuit mode is self-explanatory; you race a set...

Skin as smooth as a baby's bottom...
Review of Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clear Blemish Gel by
JetRider
Advantages: Reduces redness and irritation, gets rid of spot within days
Disadvantages: Can be drying, expensive
...During my teens I had perfect skin, no spots and hardly needed to wear any makeup. As soon as I graduated from university and moved to the big city of London my skin suffered, no doubt because of all the pollution and muck in the air, but also the late nights I got with work. I also fly lots which can be aggravating to the skin. The first time I got an erruption on my forehead I literally sprinted to H of F for the nearest treatment that would kill off the ugly beast! I happened upon the Clinique counter......
Clinique
Clinique is a company formed in 1968 - the company wanted to promote itself as more pharmaceutical and scientific, than cosmetic as most of the other companies emerging at the time. All of their products were and still are marketed as allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. The stark white coats worn...
