...One of the best strategy game ever... This is first strategy, which come underwater. In Submarine Titans all ideas, which was in best strategy games, put together. Excellent graphic, real strong AI, good soundtrack. So build base, extract resources, build submarines - and go for battle with AI. You have many types of buildings and battle ships, and also big technology tree. And at final missions you will command hundreds of your submarines - battles is really fantastic. Support network and Internet games. Sorry - but you must have a good computer for normal playing - better PIII with 64 Mb RAM and dast video card. I spent more than 3 weeks playing this game. Advantages: Nice and easy to master
Disadvantages: Dated compared to the latest releases and no Internet play

...The game is based on fighting the computer run machines trying to outwit them as they do to you/or you can take on the role of the computer and trash the humans. It is very easy to master and play and suitable for the beginner in strategy game playing(but don't expect an easy fight all the time) The graphics are good and the sound reasonable It is worth playing both roles as the scenes are the same but different tactics required. I am somewhat dissapointed that a Wargames 2 hasn't been released but you never know! Anyone who wants a game were you have to think (not to hard)will enjoy this one.... Read review

Advantages: Fun to play, Over 40 units and missions, Worth its price
Disadvantages: Outdated Grafics, Sound quality.

...Ok this game is as old as the Aztecs and most younger generation game players will think of this game as a complete joke due to the fact that the graphics are very outdated and sound quality is not all that good. But I think other wise just because a game has outdated graphics and has sound quality of a commodore 64 does not mean its a waste of time and money. This was one of my first ever strategy games that I have ever played and still is one of my favourite... why? Simply because the game play is still as addictive as cocaine and the AI if played against on hardest mode seem impossible to beat unlike other strategy games out today. This game has over 40 different types of units to choose from which is a lot compared to most strategies games. This game I would advise to people who love strategy games this game should not be over... Read review

...Starcraft is still one of the most popular games online. It offers 3 highly distinct races and possibly the most involving stories yet seen in real time strategy gaming. It may look a bit old nowadays (with the 640x480 resolutions) but on the other hand it will run like a dream if you're still hanging on to your old P90 system. Starcraft has made such an affect on strategy games players, that even the latest of strategy games are often compared to this masterpiece. In my opinion, no game yet has come close to the playability offered by this classic title. Blizzard have captured a type of play in Starcraft that is compelling and something you will want to go back to again and again. ...Diablo for the PC has been the greatest game I have played on the PC, it is a game that involves strategy and also involves thinking about how to fight the enemies. This game is very cheap to buy and it is able to go on the internet and play online, I am very much looking forward to playing on diablo2 which I hope meets up to the original. ...Shogun: Total War is a new strategy-war game based in sixteenth century Japan. The aim of the game is simply to become shogun of all Japan. You start the game in charge of several provinces and must be growth and conquest end up controlling the whole country. The game is separated into two parts. 1) The strategy element. This involves resource management, technology advancement, diplomacy and building armies. 2) The second part is the battles. When you invade another province (or are invaded), the map switches to a 3d rendered battlefield with many hundreds of soldiers to control. The two parts of the game complement each other, and with the excellent in-game videos and speech, gives the player another world to immerse him or herself in. Advantages: The control of thousands of untis gives one a General's feeling seldom found in games nowadays
Disadvantages: A pity it does not touch on the "shogun dolls".

...The Shogun Wars of Japan has been (surprisingly) an ignored theme in PC games. Perhaps the last time it was used was during the early ninties by KOEI ( which was ancient ! ). However, the intricacies of diplomacy and the ruthlessness of Japanese Sumarai Warfare has been brought out explicitly in this recent game " Shogun Total War". Combining turn based strategy & real time action, it captivates gamers with its historical units ( from the warrior monks to musketeers,) and the chance for a wannabe general to command thousands of individual units on the battlefield. Though I have not tried out the mulitplayer options, the campaigns and mock battles have been enough to captivate me .... and (im sure) any other Sumarai fan or simply strategy game fans.... ...This game is one of the first games I bought and I still really enjoy it. The concept is really original and quite easy to unserstand. The main reason I got this game is because I wanted something other than a shoot 'em up on my computer and this was recommended by a friend. The game has many different people you can play and the graphics are very imaginative, despite not being of the best quality. This game can be played on many levels, using many types of character in different situations. You can also play against the computer, over the internet, or even against a friend on the same computer. Due to these things this game will last a very long time.
