...After purchasing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 last year and being throughly impressed I decided it was time to buy the latest edition. I was initially impressed with the new capabilites to customize characters and be able to buy official golfing merchandise. Features include being able to buy clothing, footwear, accessories as well as being able to apply piercings! Being very inexerienced with golf I was impressed by the simple layout and how it had expanded on the last edition. There is an improvement in the courses, however, many of the courses used on TWPGA Tour 2003 are used-although beneficial to those who never had that game. The commentary is witty, and there is a array of challenges and tournaments to compete in which means the game play lasts for literally years! ...Grrrr. Tiger Woods PGA tour 2004 is here ( and has been for over a year now ) The game is thoroughly enjoyable to play with play flowing smoothly and your golf club swings being nicely controlled using the right analog stick. Im not a huge fan of golfing games but was amazed to find myself putting the Tiger Woods PGA 2004 into my PS2 more than I ever thought I would, there is just so much to do, shopping for equipment and even designing your own player to play as in the game. The Tiger seris has been going for a long time now but only now have I joined all the golf gaming community is its remarkable game. Nothing really original here but a really cracking game. It would have been nice to see NET PLAY though. The graphics may have looked good at the time but now I think they are lagging behind a bit, not to much, but it is noticable... Read review

...With each year comes a new Tiger Woods game and each year you think just what can they do to improve the game further and each year they manage it! Tiger Woods 2008 has the most realistic graphics yet. The game offers just about every form of golf you can imagine and is great fun if you just want to have a mess around with your friends; however the best part of the game lies in the career mode where you create your own golfer and go about being your skill levels in different parts of the game to a standard where you can compete with the great man himself. The career mode offers the opportunity to compete on the PGA tour with the only disappointment being a lack of Augusta National and the Masters, as well as advancing through PGA tour seasons you can take on the Tiger Challenge which involves mini games of golf against other Pro Golfers... ...so watch out for them. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 is not perfect though. There are a lack of courses and players. I think EA should have tried to put more effort into that. This is not a bad game though and whether your a Golf enthusiast or not you'll still enjoy this game a lot. Just watch where you swing! 8/10.... Read review

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you will love this new Tiger Woods game on ps2.The graphics are incredible, in fact this is probably the best looking game on any console or PC. You can play as Tiger and many other pro golfers. The weather effects are amazing in this game. If you play a couple of holes, the weather can change in a variety of different ways. ...is required to master the basics and the game seems to get better the more you play which is rare with a sporting simulator. There are 20 courses to play - a world tour and the ability to play against friends. In addition to this you can also play on the PGA Tour for a number of seasons. Shelf Life I have owned Tiger Woods 2004 for 9 months and have only completed 50% of the game - It will take an age to fully complete and win the trophy balls for things like a hole in one - most eagles in a round and lowest score. This is a game you will always return to time and time again. Although there are newer versions of the game available - I bought Tiger Woods 2004 brand new for only £19.99 from Game and am pleased with it - Tiger Woods 2004 is a game that will appeal to golfing fans of all ages.... ...Every year an updated sports title is churned up by EA. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 is the second Tiger game on the 360, but is it any good? The answer, yes. Firstly due to it being on the 360, the graphics shine from the courses to the players. You can start off by creating a custom player or you can rise the young Tiger through the ranks. The Game Face feature allows you to create a custom player just as you want them to look. You can choose the basics of their hair to other features such as nose adjustments. When this golfer has been created, you can either train him up, or head in to the Tiger Challenge or even tackle the PGA Season. ...I recently brought the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 Game on the XBOX 360 and found it really enjoyable and extremely challenging. Its graphics are superb, I was amazed as to the extent they went with them, it was as if you were seeing the courses in real life. There are 12 courses to play with also 17 game modes to go through, for example stroke play, match play and foursomes. Just a few of the courses are Bandon Dunes, Pebble Beach, Glen Abbey just to name a few. Broadcast commentry is played out as the game goes through the different stages. There are also the other PGA tour players who are in the game also. All the stokes are done through the mini joysticks on the remote. ...I've played other golf games and never quite been satisfied, the whole 'stop the meter at the right place' thing never really got me. Then I got Tiger Woods 2003 and I was blown away! Using the analogue stick on the PS2 to control the power and direction was such an advancement it completely changed golf on a console. Now Tiger Woods 2004 has come along and it's even better. You can fully customise your golfers appearance, from hair style to nose size, then kit them out in shorts or trousers, t-shirts or jumpers, give them tattoos, whatever you want to do. The gameplay is fantastic, compete in the World Tour against other top golfers in a matchplay competition, play in the top Tournaments around the world on 20 courses, complete scenarios such as playing windswept holes, the possibilities are endless. ...Golf. Not the most interesting of sports you have to admit. Slightly better to play than to watch. And before anyone questions me I will admit that I do play golf every now and then, although not that well. So even though I am very much into my PS2 and I like playing golf I’ve never bought a golf game before (although have played a few on friends PC’s and consoles) because basically I thought it would short term fun and then get dull It wasn’t until my girlfriend wanted a game we could play against each other (cosy I know!) that I considered buying one.
