Review of Tyan Tiger MPX S2466 - motherboard - ATX - AMD-760 MPX by  totalguy

Advantages: 4 dimm slots
Disadvantages: can only use registered ecc ram and little space to put heatsinks on

...card 1 cd drive and one hard drive would be ideal. this board according to the tyan site will only support upto 1900 MP cpu's although i have seen people using 2200 cpu's in it but i dont know anything about the reliability of them and tyan definately wont offer you any support on that part. as for tyan technical support though unless its on the website i wouldnt bother i sent them countless emails about my heat problems on this and i never got a reply. although the first ever email i sent was if they were going to add support for higher cpu's than 1900+ took about 2 weeks for a reply but thats all i ever got out of them, i think if youve got any sort of problem and i think they knowabout it they dont want to know kind of thing!... bought one of these second hand
Review of ASUS A7M266-D - motherboard - ATX - AMD-760 MPX by  totalguy

Advantages: cpu compatibility is good
Disadvantages: can be a troublesome board if not used right

...I bought one of these second hand, i dont know if it had ever been used because it was sold to me as part of a stock clearance and i was only sold the board itself no aditions. It does have usb onboard but only usb 1.0 but if you were to buy this one brand new now it should come with a usb 2.0 card which does take up a pci slot but if u need it what can you do? personally i dont use usb only for uploading pics off my camera so its not a problem for me. jumper free mode, can be a right pain in the arse for some people it might be fine but ive noticed not only me has had problems instaling card drivers when in jumper free mode so if your having these problems first thing to do is set the jumpers manually. unlike my older board (the tyan tiger mp s2460) this board runsa lot cooler so thats a good advantage and there is plenty of space so... Myths ARE real...
Review of Tyan Tachyon G9600 PRO by  UrkiE-UK

Advantages: Nice Pricetag, Incredible Overclocking Flexibility (CPU-Wise), Cooling, Power, Looks, Everything
Disadvantages: None discovered whatsoever

...Nothing pleases me more than the best peformance and quality results in today's beautiful games. I had the money to buy a 9800 Pro XT card, so why didn't I? Well, in my position, it's inappropriate to pay the most for the best. Also, i'd discovered the most appealing deal in my entire lifetime - The Tyan Tachyon G9600 PRO. Having one of the longest graphics card names ever, even that would be enough to impress! This graphics card is a third-party product, meaning that even though Radeon make it, some companies release their own version of the card, mostly being superior to their original counterparts. This card is far superior, in the way that it overclocks like a dream, should any of you wish to dabble in feeding your card electronical nitro (not literally), and it also has a more extensive cooling system, keeping the whole card... Review of Hydro Thunder (DC) by  superguy5

Advantages: fun
Disadvantages:

...Hydro Thunder, as the name suggests, is a high speed water speed boat game. It could also be described as a 3d (and better) version of the nintendo classic: Wave race. The main feature of the game is the power pills which are surrounded all around the course. These either boost you for 4 or 9 secs depending on the pill. The power pills work really well in hydro thunder and if you give the game chance then you will really like it! A class game. Worth buying if you like racing or water sport games.... Read review

Thunder in the beginning and at their bast
Review of Backstreet Symphony - Thunder by  elminster

Advantages: Great Album
Disadvantages:

...Back street symphony was the debut album for the brit rock band thunder. They went on to produce many fine albums but nothing really come close to this. This albums contains several rock hyms the title track love walked in - shes so fine along with some of the irreverent fun that made thunder an excellent band to see live - an english man on holiday with the immortal lines "laying down in this spanish bar - the last slammer hit me like a car - I've got the 6am balieric blues - cant even focus on my own tatoos - I had a fight with a german guy - I saw him give my little girl the eye - while he was trying to act so cool - I hit him with a stool. The band has unfortunatley gone there seperate ways now and will be missed on the smaller venue rock scene in the UK.... Read review

Thundering on and on!
Review of Backstreet Symphony - Thunder by  Biffa

Advantages: Brilliant and British
Disadvantages: None

...Thunder were undoubtedly one of the best British Rock bands on the scene during the early nineties, and this first offering from the Thunder camp is excellent. The whole album is brilliant - from the wonderful ballad type tracks like "Love Walked in" and "Don't wait for me" to Gimme Some Lovin and Dirty Love. An Englishman on Holiday is brilliant too - a very true song of what Brits are like on holiday - drinking , fighting and falling over! Very funny. Thunder were brilliant, and just as good live as they were on vinyl (old style records to you younger peeps!) Danny Bowers has a powerful voice that can easily do justice to ballads or rock-your-socks-off tracks, and the guitar work of Luke Morely, whilst not the best in the world, is certainly deservy of credit. A brilliant band, an excellent album and the best live shows I... Read review

Cheap thrills
Review of 4 Wheel Thunder (DC) by  amnesiac

Advantages: Price, Multi-player
Disadvantages: Longevity, no 4 player

...In 4-wheel thunder you take control of buggies in racing events as you would expect. However where this game really comes into it's own is the multi-player, loads of options and fun for two people (4 player would have been nice). It is in the same series as Hydro Thunder but speeds past it in every way. 4 wheel thunder in my opinion is one of the better games currently available on the DC. OK, so it may not be a PSO or QuakeIII but it really is a lot of fun particularly in multi-player. This is one of those games where normally I would say rent it first as a small minority may not fall for it's charms. However recently I saw it in a shop for a fantastic £9.99. If you see it for this price then you must get it immediatley, the game is worth way more than this (and if word gets out there won't be any left ;). It may not be game... Read review

Off road mayhem
Review of 4 Wheel Thunder (DC) by  jambo5000

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...Developed by French team Kalisto, past masters at the 3D racing genre, 4 Wheel Thunder is an off-road spectacular, rightly hailed by the Official Dreamcast magazine as the finest racing game for the console system yet. Packing in more than sixty hardcore offroad vehicles, each sporting beautiful bodywork detail and suitably oversized tyres and treads, it drops gamers into a world of dirt-spewing, rubber-burning, out and indoor racing mayhem, where an understand of exactly how machine and nature respond to each other is crucial to success. It's this man versus nature element to 4 Wheel Thunder that really sets it apart from track-based racing titles, the larger-than-life nature of the races really making for excellent multiplayer action as well as top solo gaming. There are 24 detailed tracks in all, each complete with shortcuts... Read review

Review of Thunder Drum Kits by  jammez

Advantages: Durable
Disadvantages:

...I received a white Thunder drumkit for my christmas in 1995 and it's falling to bits! (Probably because of the extreme use and regular transportation - I play in a band with no regular practise place) The drums themselves give an excellent sound quality with skins on either side and when used in line with premier accessories (premier's drums are crap, but their accessories are good) gives an extremely robust drum kit with long-lasting durability (if it's to be transported around!) A good size, not too bulky and the girls always go for the drummer!!!... Read review

Thunder, thunder, thunder, THUNDERCATS.
Review of BBC1 :Thundercats by  John-Q-Public

Advantages: It rocked harder than Stone-henge.
Disadvantages: It's not on anymore!!

...This is one of those 'Vintage' cartoons from childhood years. The adventures of Thundercats were both entertaining and action-packed. I used to love tuning in to witness the brave-hearted 'Liono' and 'Panthro' battle the darstardly 'Mummrah'. With their sidekick 'Shnarff' and behind the wheel of a monster vehicle the cunningly named gang of feline heroes used to foil 'Mummrah' on a regular basis. The thing I remember most about Thundercats was the 'war-cry' of the heroic 'Liono'; "Thunder! Thunder! THUNDER! THUNDERCATS!! HO!!!". With the logo on his sword filling the sky with a Batman-style signal, his faithful companions would race to his aid to help him battle the fiendish 'Mummrah' and his motley assortment of non-feline muscle-bound ruffians. 'Mummrah' was a magical-mummy-skeleton-type-son-of-a-gun with a scary hate... Read review
