...Have you got an imac at Home. It's an item every home should have... !!! Since the Original Imac, improvments and extras have been added. First you had a choice of Colour then, came the Models with faster G3 Processors. Then the DV and Special Edition's which came in the same colours as before. Next after the Success of the G4 came A brand new look for the DV's with dull colours.... NOW you have the Imac with the Ultimate Data recording facility, the Apple CD Burner. From my experiences of the DVD player on the DV's you might as well not have it... Get the CD Burning imac instead!!! Also the look to the machine is different because you now have a choice of either : Dalmation Print, or Flower Power designs. The Spec's : A new Processor which is a G4 500Mhz ( Nice and quick ). ...towards a burning sun which makes for quite a sight! The G-Bikes are cool in their design, with use of shiny tin-foil effects. Since they are futuristic motorcycles, check out the first-person view swaying side-to-side, at speed! Complementing the visuals is the techno music, which is great. In Extreme Contest (racing in a field of eight), the ultimate Meltdown tournament - where there is the chance to compete across all tracks - seems a let down. Regardless of the difficulty setting, the bar is set high to qualify for the next race - so high that, the only outcome at the end of the tournament (should they progress that far) would be the player topping the table. ...I decided to try a pack of Tesco’s Finest Handcooked Crisps in the Lightly Salted flavour at Christmas and what a revelation that was! I had bought the product because the packaging looked good in silver foil and the crisps sounded a bit more special than ordinary crisps. As it was for the Christmas buffet I thought they might be worth a try. I had paid £1.19 for a 150g pack and they were worth every penny. I was a bit dubious when I bought them, thinking that they may well be indistinguishable from any other crisps, but how wrong I was! On the front of the pack it states that these crisps are: ‘Lightly salted crunchy and deliciously thick potato crisps. ...I have discovered the ultimate weapon in getting my kids to eat all of the sandwiches, KINGSMILL CRUSTS AWAY!!! Now after years of nagging, blackmail and even promises of bestowed powers if they ate all their sandwiches I never received a clear plate so you can imagine how thrilled I was to see this bread come out on the shelves. Do you remember your parents telling you that if you ate all your crusts you would get curly hair, yeah well this doesn’t work in my house as all my children bar the eldest who’s a lad (and he really doesn’t want to have curly hair I have been emphatically informed!) have very curly hair naturally so that offer of persuasion never really worked for me! ...Ive had an apple G4 450 for over a year now and now feel able to say that it is one of the best machines ive ever used. working in the IT industry i need to be able to depend on my machines and the i mac i had previous to it i couldnt. as soon as i bought this i knew i was on to a winner. in todays markets it still contents handsomely with its competion, even the higher spec macs now out. the main advantage that it now has is its price. currently a third of its release price, it will serve as a super quick home machine just as well as any pc would. software and compatibilty is no longer much of an issue, and they are easy to use, are built with ultimate quality, and look the part in any office or home. they are quiet, reliable as macs go, and the screens they ship with are of a quality not often seen nowadays. this is the machine to go... ...I have had my iBook for over 6 months now, and I have never regretted the purchase. I do all my work, internet surfing and play on the thing. Apple have just recently come up with a new ibook, which sports all of these amazing features: 500 Mhz g3 Processor - Roughly equal to a 750 PIII Tiny, ice-white rugged design 12.1" XGA screen CD/CDR/DVD or CDR and DVD combo drives available option wireless networking Mirroring to Monitor or TV Firewire port - edit your digital videos Built in Networking And All this for only 1200 pounds! I know that the screen is not that large, but believe me, it is the best quality, and helps to make the'book TINY.
