paulas_91
Advantages: 3.2 mp camera,bluetooth
Disadvantages: fragile
...Samsung U600 is a slim & stylish slider opening mobile phone which is a member of the Samsung Ultra Edition II range. The handset is known as the Samsung U600 Ultra Edition 10.9 which is due to its casing being only 10.9mm in thickness. The Ultra Edition II range includes other slim & desirable mobile handsets which include the Samsung U100 Ultra Edition 5.9, Samsung U300 Ultra Edition 9.6 & Samsung U700 Ultra Edition 12.1. The handset comes in a modern designed casing which has a smooth slide opening mechanism which reveals the metal etched keypad. The handset comes with a large 2.2 Inch colour screen which can be viewed in the phones open or closed position. The phone looks incredibly stylish in either its open or closed position & the user can use the navigation tool & selection keys when the handsets is closed. The Samsung U600 Ultra...

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Tiny Ultra Mobile PC
Review of Sony VAIO UX1XN - Core Solo U1500 1.33 GHz - 4.5" TFT by
Jacobnoahblues
Advantages: Ultra mobile and quick
Disadvantages: Tiny hard to see screen
...I purchased the UX1 when it first came into the UK over a year ago, there were some annoying tweaks such as a US keyboard etc, however overall I was blown away. Its such a smart little package which is ergonomic when held in your hands, its easy to flip the tiny screen up to reveal the keyboard which is very funky with blue back lit keys. Running Vista its super smooth with a 32GB solid state memory it loads software pretty quickly regardless of the normal Vista drain on memory. The best part of the ultra mobile pc was the finger tip technology which is very bondesque but works seemlessly, once set up kiss goodbye to all those endless username and password sign ins. Screen is slightly too small hence why I have upgraded to Sony TZ32!...

A phone to Samsung from the rooftops about!
Review of Samsung SGH-U800 Soul b by
lletterbas
Advantages: Sleek, sexy, inexpensive
Disadvantages: None
...Sleek & stylish. Sublime simplicity at it's best. Camera ensures stunning photos everytime even though it isn't the highest pixel mobile camera on the market at the moment, it serves it's purpose more than well. Ultra fast downloads. Easy to navigate through all the functions. Has some fairly decent standard ringtones on it. Can easily expand the memory with a Micro SD card. Excellent for texting on. The Samsung U800 is not only powerful on the inside, it's beautiful on the outside too. This very reasonably priced little mobile phone, will not only leave you being the envy of all your friends, it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face as it won't leave a dent in you wallet! The Sublimely Simple Samsung U800!...

A time and a place
Review of Mobile Phone Etiquette by
Morgenhund
Advantages: Politeness endears you to other people. Good phone etiquette is a common courtesy.
Disadvantages: Bad mobile phone etiquette is an annoying part of everyday life.
...I do not begrudge the useful side of owning a mobile phone, as in my case they have made my nomadic lifestyle of moving around from one country to another a lot easier. However there is a time and a place for Mobile Phones and there are a few thigns that people could do to to make their mobile use less intrusive.
1) Change the SMS received tone to a single, low beep. The standard message signal which sounds like a morse code message is ultra annoying especially when the whole train carriage is SMSing everone they know.
2) Go out into the vestibule of a train. The number of times I have heard Virginia telling Fifi that "Giles is a sweety!" or "I got so pi**ed!" and it has annoyed me. Similarly on trains turn the ring level down to a reasonable level.
3) In Restaurants turn the damn thing off. Surely anzthing can wait in a restaurant...

Samsung SGH D900 Ultra Edition 12.9 Black
Review of Samsung SGH D900 Ultra Edition 12.9 by
sa.fraser
Advantages: Easy to use and stylish
Disadvantages: Flash problems and Text messaging sounds
...A stylish, slim line, attractive mobile phone, with excellent picture quality and fantastic sound quality. The look of the phone is extremely stylish, and is light to hold, without feeling like it might break in your hand. It does not sit too heavily either and can eaily be navigated through by just using the one hand. The features are excellent, by far the best Samsung have had so far (in my opinion anyway). The camara is 3 megapixels which is better than most other brands and the quality is just amazing. Even without the flash (the only disadvantage I have found that the flash is not automatic and you have to go through a menu to get to it.) There is plenty of storage in built and you can also buy SD memory cards in different sizes. (I wanted one free with the phone, but alas, they would not give me one) The music player is fantastic...

Nice little mobile
Review of Samsung SGH U600 Ultra Edition 10.9 by
muton
Advantages: size and weight, 3mpx camera, microsd memory cards
Disadvantages: touch buttons - takes time to get used to it.
...Just recently my wife got that phone on a contract deal from orange. I spent some time checking it. It looks brilliant, one of the thinnest mobiles I every seen, and in comparision to my nokia n73 it's very light. It's got wonderful big bright screen (always a huge advantage in samsung phones) and all the latest features you could expekt from a mobile including 3mpx camera, which makes very nice photos. Phone uses micro sd memory cards, which are fairly cheap now. Main disadvante - hard to get used to touch buttons. I keep calling to someone all the time or accidently deleting sms messages etc, but it's not hard to get used to it, my wife got no problems with it. Sound qua |
