I just love Star Trek. I have watched the original series, Next Generation, Deep Space 9 (didn’t like it much), Voyager (my favourite), and now Enterprise, as well as all of the Movies. Disadvantages: A bit lacking in reinforcements

...The idea of a 3 finger motorcycle glove seems like an odd one, but in the Hein Gericke Pathan it works very well. It has 2 large sections for your fingers and a normal thumb. (looks like the Vulcan salute). While some people might prefer to have individual finger sections, when do you need to have the use of individual digits while riding? The gloves have a waterproof, breathable sheltex membrane liner as well as some very effective insulation so your fingers stay both warm and dry in the worst of weather. The only drawback with these gloves is that they don't have the extra reinforcements you might find on more expensive ones, but you pay your money you take your choice. Advantages: Getting better
Disadvantages: Terrible theme tune

...impression of Star Trek Enterprise was one of extreme disappointment. Star Trek theme tunes are typically epic or operatic in nature, Enterprise starts with a cheesy rock tune. (What were they thinking about). The story - after developing warp drive technology, Earth has been contacted by the Vulcan people, who are overseeing our gradual expansion out into space. Or as some humans see it, with holding technology from us and keeping us back. But finally (only 150 years from now) the Enterprise is built (constructed in no small part from the technology of its Captain's father Jonathan Archer. Unfortunately, he never lives to see the ship launched, leaving Jonathan with a burning dislike of the inhibiting vulcans). In the first episode the accidental arrival of a Klingon on Earth leads to the Enterprise's first mission and chance to prove itself... Read review

Advantages: Excellent murder mystery in space

...A great Murder who donnit! Kim Catterall and Nimoy almost steal the show as Vulcans obviously smitten with each other but following different ideologies. The Klingons need help in this VIth film and it's up to Kirk and crew to escort the Klingon leader to a peace summit. Excellent perforance by Christopher Plummer as the Evil General Chang sees him battling with kirk both mentally and finally in space combat. The story basically revolves around whether or not the Enterprise has fired on the Klingon's ship, who were the Starfleet assasins, the rescue of Kirk and McCoy from Prison and the unearthing of a closet Rommunlan/Klingon/Terran/Vulcan threat to continue all out conflict at the highest levels - easy isn't it? The story is a vast improvement on the last film and is a great swansong for all the regular actors as each are given... Read review

...The third Star Trek outing sees Captain Kirk risking everything along with his crew to find and return Spock to the planet Vulcan so that his alive soul can be put in his dead body and he can be “resurrected”. Spock had been sent to the Genesis planet at the end of the previous film and the main story takes place on the planet. One good thing I like about the story is the way that Spock evolves in line with the newly created and developing Genesis planet. This film was also directed by Leonard Nimoy (Spock) which may explain why he is not in the story himself too much!... Read review

...Yes the old team are back - William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Deforest Kelly et al. All looking far too old to be doing this sort of thing. Ironically, the starship Enterprise has been refitted and most of it doesn't work quite the way it should and has seen better days - bit like the crew then!! The plot of the film is so thin as to be transparent. Basically, strange Vulcan type manages to show people the way to enlightenment (brainwashing we call it!!). When he's brainwashed enough people for a small army he takes over the capital (and only) city on the Galactic Planet Of Peace. Kirk, Bones and Spock are enjoying a bit of camping (and that's not just the acting!!) when they are recalled to the barely working Enterprise.
