...after re painting the house the one problem left was how to display my lovely clematis. The old trellis-which had only been insitu for about two years had come away from the wall and had become entwined in the clematis. I purchased a new wall trellis and on talking down the old one was horiffied at the snails and much that had been created. after a few days pondering I came up with the following idea. I decided to fit a series of cup hooks onto the wall and attach the trellis. Out came the masonary drill and the raw plugs. i attached 6 cup hooks into the wall and mounted the wall trellis adjusted the cup hooks so the trellis was firmly secured and reattached the clematis. The beauty of this is that when i cut back the clematis I can easily unhook the trellis and clean the brickwork.... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, Works well, looks good
Disadvantages: Tinny sound, quite thick for an LCD TV, standard tuner is crap

...We decided to make the upstairs bedroom into another lounge, so we needed another TV that wasn't too big and too expensive. We saw this in Comet for £299 and for a 26" thats pretty dam good! This TV gives a good picture but it really depends on what kind of aerial you have, i recommend getting a digital aerial with free view or a dish and get sky as the tuner in this TV is a crap one and you need something like sky or free view to make it worth getting the TV!. The TV looks good with it's glossy black stuff around the screen and speakers out from that, but these are not the best speakers in the world, lacking bass and sounding quite tinny, so i recommend getting a few separate speakers or home cinema system. Also this isn't the thinnest LCD TV around at around 3" deep so make sure you aren't wall mounting it in a tiny room and it could... Read review

Advantages: Saves yours and your families life. Easy to install
Disadvantages: None that i can think of.

.... - For mobile home installations, you need to select the location carefully to avoid thermal barriers that may form at the ceiling. - Kidde models 0916, 0916ll and 0918 are suitable for mobile home installation. - When you mount the alarm on the ceiling, you need locate it at a minimum of 12” (30cm) from the side wall and two feet from any inside corner. - When you mount the alarm on the wall, which I would not recommend, you need to use an inside wall with the top edge of the alarm at a minimum of 6” and a maximum of 12” below the ceiling and at least 2 feet from any inside corner. - Put smoke alarms at both ends of the bedroom hallway or large room if the hallway or room is more than 30 feet long. ...I was looking for an LCD TV for the LOunge of my new flat and wanted to keep the budget as low as possible since moving is so expensive. I came across the Vistron 32" HD Ready TV through one of my IT suppliers who recommended it as a great value LCD TV for those who don't need all of the bells and whistles of a Samsung or a Sony, but want an attractive TV that does a job. It certainly does that. The picture quality is excellent, it has inbuilt feet negating the need for an additional stand or wall mount (Whilst still being able to be wall mounted) and is very intuitive to set up and configure. It has dual SCART Inputs for both Sky and DVD players without the need for extension boards. The remote also integrates seemlessly with Sky as well.
