...I got my Wii as part of a free mobile phone upgrade as it wasn't my intention to buy one as I already own a PS3. However, I wich I had bought one earlier. Let's be honest, the graphics aren't a comparison to the PS3 or XBox360 but the gameplay on the Wii is very addictive. So much so, the Mrs also plays on it and she's never played on the PS3. The Wii can also produce HD quality pictures which is within the Wii option menu. Since owning the Wii I have also bought the Wii Fit which is a great addition to the Wii console. I find the gameplay and general addictiveness with the Wii outshines the PS3 and XBox360. If you have an HD TV I recommend you upgrading the connecting wire to a component cable as this improves the picture quality no end. I can't recommend this console enough. ...and the great thing is wii sports comes free with the wii!! Many of my friends that i've convinced to buy a wii have commented on how they didn't expect the wii to be that small well this is another great thing the wii is nice and small and the casing looks very classy and it will fit nicely in the smallest of houses. Advantages: Great fun never gets too boring fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Possibility of wrong BMI in young children as they are growing.

...Right well the wii fit is just absolute central of gaming fun ! The board is very very stable and i have never heard of the board breaking or being damaged. There are all differnt things to enjoy of the wii fit with 4 different fit stations including : Yoga Mucsle Workouts Balance Games Aerobics And one other showing "favorites" When the wii fit first arrives at your home you can set it up in less than 10 minutes and start to enjoy! Unlocking new games and workouts as you go along by time or agility. Allthough after a few weeks once you have unlocked all games it can be a little boring, but as long as you have friends or family to play with it should be just as fun! ...I've been after a Wii Fit for ages but all the UK stores were sold out and I refused to pay double on eBay. I picked mine up whilst in France for the same price as the UK. It's very easy to install, just sync the Balance Board as you do the controller. As with all Wii games, the graphics aren't comparible to a PS3 or Xbox360 but the gameplay is very addictive. I own a PS3 and love the graphics but the Wii gameplay makes me want to play that more. Even the Mrs loves it. The Balance Board is 1.5 times bigger than bathroom scales and is easy to use. The games you get with the Wii Fit are pretty extensive including fitness, yoga, stamina and even a weight loss programme where you use your Wii character already saved (if you have one). I can't recommend this enough, it's just a case of finding one.... Read review

...I think the Wii Fit is a must for any Wii owner, it actually works! I bought my Wii Fit around a month ago and I use it everyday for around 30 minutes. Its so much fun you honestly dont know where the time goes. The body tests provide an accurate reading of your weight or BMI and you can set yourself weight loss targets that are realistic. Since buying mine I've lost half a stone in a month and because its a gradual weight loss it stays off. The balance games are great fun while the other games provide quite a tough physical workout. If your looking to play the Wii Fit just for fun and aren't too woried about losing weight then its still great fun playing and compteing with others. If you have a Wii then you MUST get this!!!!!... ...After months of waiting I finally managed to buy wii fit when I was in town looking for a sandwich to eat while I was on my lunch break, I happned to pass my local game shop and to my surprise I saw three wii fit bundles in the wii fit. I popped in presuming they were just on display and not up for sale, so I asked the man at the counter weather they were in stock and he said thay wre in a bundle of a rechageable battery, wii fit silicon cover and the wii fit with the balance, so without hesitation I bought it. So now on to the game itself. After carting the heavy board away home from the shop after work, I had to sync the balance board with my specific nintendo wii which is a fiddly buisness. Doing this job is almost impossible on your own, you need to remove the cover of the slot were you insert SD memory cards into your wii... Read review

...The wii fit is a fantastic addition to the nintendo wii which already helps me stay fit .It is the only console we play as a family and now the wii fit is here we use it more as a family .I love the fact the children can enjoy playing something that helps them get more active instead of playing other consoles which can get them very stressed . we all can monitor our progress in a fun way and it is also really informative . It doesn't get boring over time either as you earn new levels games etc . It has games for everyone . I love the step aerobics and boxing and kids love the running and hula hoop etc . There is also a feature for the wii fit channel so you can just do a quick body test daily without the need to install the game just use the board . I like the fact that i can take it seriously myself by setting weightloss goals etc... Read review
