It does give an immediate smoothing effect, almost like ironing out the wrinkles....to some extent. As well as the instant (temporary) results, there are longer term benefits to this product as it is packed with proteins and other nutrients that firm and hydrate the skin. Application Application is quite staight forward, just smooth a little over the whole face or on specific areas (around eyes or mouth) with fingertips.Don't rub it in until it's absorbed, leave to dry naturally which takes a few moments. ...That's how the PR people describe this - a face lift in a bottle. Well I wouldn't go quite that far, but for anyone concerned about the first (or even 51st!) signs of ageing this has got to be worth a try. Basically the product is filmogenic - like Clarins Beauty Flash or Decleor Beauty boost. This, however, is stronger. It's designed to be worn alone or under make-up and it really does help skin to look a lot better. I find it helps keep my make-up in place and even helps to stop oily t-zone break-through. There is a bit of a knack to applying it and it isn't cheap. But for those days when you need to look pretty near perfect, this is the best product I've found... Read review

...Although Voss is a very small town located about 1-2 hours drive from Bergen airport it offers some of the best skiing conditions I have skied in. There are passes available for the cable car and ski lifts which range from one day passes to monthly passes, there is a restaurantsituated at the top of the mountain where meals are served all day. Although much of the food is quite expensive there is a wide variety of meals available. The ski slopes cover the whole mountain with slopes which can be used by a wide ability level of skiers the ski lifts are situated so that there is at most 50 metres between the top of the lifts and the start of the slope. ...OK - after reading some positive reviews on this product I immediately ordered what I hoped was going to be a miracle in a bottle! Hmm. Well, for £4 what did I expect?! Having lost a considerable amount of weight over the last 6 months, I noticed a few fine line at each side of my mouth - and of course there were the 'laughter' lines and those two lines above the bridge of my nose ...ugh! I come from a family of youthful-looking folk so was a little smug that I hadn't aged quite as much as some of my contemporaries. I am 55 .......I saw the words 'Virtual Lift' and thought I'd give this product a go, what had I got to lose? Well, £4 for a start! The product is basically packaged, which is OK with me, non-glamorous looking packaging should keep the cost of the product down, right? And it's what's inside the bottle that matters... Read review

...Being a keen embrace fan, As soon as this album hit the shops, I was there.Paid for it then rushed out to my car and hoped what i was just about to listen to was going to be a vast improvment on the dissapointing "IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN" When the first song "ASHES" came on a little smile appeared on my face as this up tempo song is enough to lift even the dampest spirits and for the full 4mins and 20 seconds the smooth voice of Danny McNamara and his brother Richards smooth guitar style opened up and swallowed me whole, surely one of the best opening songs i have heard on any album and a treat for any listener. For me this album" OUT OF NOTHING" just got better and better and the way in which it has been put together lifts you up with a song like "ASHES" then lowers you back down with a timeless classic called"GRAVITY" this theme... ...like, 'Why Put Yourself Through the Pain of Surgery?' or 'Face Lift in a Bottle' (doesn't that already exist?). Anyway, back to the product. RoC Protinent claims that the Serum lifts your skin therefore providing a more youthful look. I think what it does is actually tighten the skin, thereby reducing those fine lines, and even some of those more determined track lines that plague us. What you are left with is a smooth canvas upon which to apply your make up, or not as the case may be, and yes, the effect is immediate. I have never had any kind of allergic reaction from it, which is unusual for a product such as this as often they leave your skin feeling tight and pinched. ...I don't wish to give the impression that I've the features of a prune, but I am forever on the look-out for a miracle product with 'lifting' properties, or at least something which smoothes the skin which in turn ensures a nice 'base' to apply foundation. Normally, I use a mud pack which I find very effective in giving a firmness and smoothness to my skin with the added bonus of a youthful bloom (then again, I am very short sighted). However, my usual favourite brand of mud pack was not available at our local chemist and so I decided to give the Garnier Skin Naturals Lift Firming Mask with Essence of Cherries, a trial At £1.29, this double sachet (6ml per sachet) works out at approximately 65p per application - more expensive that my usual face mask, which costs me 99p, and last for three generous applications.
