Award-winning more than once in the past, the Mark II is the classic Mark tent and with "Groundvent" (mesh closure for all-round ventilation impervious to water spray and mosquitos) once again further optimised. Mark II offers room for 3 people and is also available in a long version. Demonstrating outstanding wind stability, it's also extremely easy to set up, well-ventilated and wonderfully comfortable. In short: a weather-proof all-round tent package at a great price.
tours. From the very beginning, Vaude Mark tents were quick to gain their great reputation. Prized for their very easy pitching and dismantling, they are also highly popular for their stormproof stability and generous spaciousness. The Mark II Light only weighs 2.9 kg, offers room for up to 3, and has a laminated polyamide floor that is waterproof and resistant to formic acid.
with a lot of gear. For larger outdoor enthusiasts on longer tours with lots of luggage: the ideal tent. New: with Groundvent mesh closure for all-round ventilation impervious to water spray and mosquitos. The Vaude Mark II Long features 4 storm tension loops for extreme conditions with reliable, wind stable elastic fixation. The tent is fast and easy to set-up, has excellent ventilation through vestibule openings and excellent head room.
Advantages: Easy up and down, light weight, OUTER UP FIRST! Disadvantages: Rather expensive, suffers from condensation if zips fully closed

I put the tent up in the back garden as per the instructions that were easy to follow. When you first get the tent the inner is not attatched so you lay the outer on the floor and the elasticated frame is placed on top. The 4 corners of the outer are then inserted into the ends of the frame and the elastic of the outer easily clipped onto the frame.
The inner is then attatched ... ...problem for me to contact VauDe over it, is that the small plastic inserts at the ends of the main tent poles have strayed and are likely inside the Snowdon Horseshoe somewhere GR SH601 545 if you want to look for them!!
Packing away the tent is as much of a dream as putting it up, even with gloves on! You simply unclip the elastic cord and end clips, allow the inner and outer (still attatched) to fall to the ground, fold up the frame, unpeg and ...

Advantages: Sturdy, roomy, easy assembly Disadvantages: Not cheap
I don't actually own one of these superb little tents, but have used them on a few occasions as a participant of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. It is a truly impressive model, with a number of features making it suitable for use in such activities.
It is reasonably lightweight, but at the same time very sturdy. I believe it is suitable for 4-season use although I haven't yet tried it out in the winter conditions. It uses shock-corded lightweight ... ...possible to put the inner tent and fly-sheet up as one unit. This is especially useful when raining, and makes for a quick assembly time. The tent is equally easy to take down when it is time to go.
You will comfortably sleep 2-3 people in here, and the two porch-type entrances (one at either end) allow for storage of boots and packs etc, so that your sleeping area is just that. The porches are also adequately large enough to allow you to cook in ...

Advantages: Feels Huge, very Sturdy Disadvantages: Bit Weighty
I really liked this tent when my ten tors team and i first used it,after carrying it for a good 30 miles, at this point i would say it is fairly heavy but that is how you get such a sturdy tent i guess. The 1st time we put it up was on the moors and it was getting dark but as soon as we took it out of the bag it was nearly up allready!! The only downside was having to put in the inner but now its been up we just leave it in.
This tent is huge and ...

I love the Radio One Live Lounge albums, especially the cover versions that the artists choose to do, and this production from British born producer turned DJ Mark Ronson is very much along those lines, hence the title "Version". He has chosen a mixture... more
